This activity is well worth the price and John is a knowledgable and passionate storyteller. The "walk" is not long in distance, but it is a fascinating 90 minutes.

Thanks Johnnie for your wonderful tour of Haworth. There was just the three of us, including the very nice lady from Switzerland. You gave us a glimpse of the lives the Bronte's lived in the village and elsewhere and what with the beautiful old buildings, and your enthusiastic interpretation of it made for a wonderful morning and would reccomend all... Johnnie is welcoming and passionate about his tours of this historic town. Contact him about having lunch at the Baptist Chapel if you are bringing a group. He is well-informed and a great delight.

We went on the Passionate Bronte walk in Howarth today knowing very little about the Bronte sisters and their lives. That soon changed. Our guide was brilliant, very knowledgable about the whole Bronte family, along with the beautiful surrounding area and history around Howarth. He was entertaining, involving the whole audience, and even if you are not a huge fan... More

This really was the best walking tour I have ever been on. A hugely emotional story told in an captivating way. I'm still thinking about the Bronte family several days afterwards - I was engrossed! The tour took about 90 minutes but involved minimal walking (I am quite heavily pregnant and managed just fine) and seemed to be over much... More

I can only agree with other people regarding Johnny Briggs - he brought the tour to life, he managed to keep my teenage son entertained and involved. I suggest you do the tour before visiting the Parsonage, not only do you get £1.00 discount if you show your tour ticket but I feel you can appreciate museum more.

We had a marvellous day in Haworth. The very best part was the inspirational talk and walk given by Johnny Briggs - Bronte Walks. He got everyone involved and was very entertaining, passionate and knowledgeable about his subject.. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Haworth to learn about the Brontes.

I couldn't agree more with the very positive reviews of the tour given by Johnny Briggs (or Johnnie - I'm afraid I don't know which spelling is correct). It was the best guided tour I have ever been on - knowledgeable, impassioned, witty and involving very good rapport with the group. Haworth was the last place I visited on my... More
