We visited on an overcast Saturday. Positives: Ice cream is great and reasonably priced. Access to the animals was free. There are; pony's, donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks and free roaming chickens. Their enclosures were a fair size. The animals seemed comfortable. Negatives: water containers could have been cleaner. They're old pots and pans. The handwash facilities are sinks in... More

Visited recently on a very hot day. Needless to say it was very busy, but the service is fast and efficient! Gorgeous ice cream, so many flavours to choose from, but we had Jaffa cake and cinder toffee, which were both lovely! will be returning soon to sample some more flavours

I love visiting this place, summer or winter. The many and varied flavors of ice cream are the nicest I've tasted. There is a lovely little tearoom/ice cream parlour where they also sell preserves to take home. It is a working farm so there are chickens wandering round the yard. There are farm animals for the children to look at.... More

We decided to have an icecream one sunny Saturday. The parlour was busy, but service was quite fast and the icecream was delicious. Our daughter wanted to look at the animals, and I have to say what I saw spoiled our visit. The ducks and geese were in an enclosure with water that was nothing more than grey sludge, one... More

Called there yesterday for an ice cream, but decided to have a coffee instead. £2.50 for a latte. The weather was good so we sat outside. There were plenty of people about and lots of small children enjoying to animals. We will go again to sample the homemade icecream. PS there was plenty of parking but make sure to avoid... More

We took our grandchildren here for a treat - we had a coffee and they had ice cream. They should do a mini size for toddlers as they are far too big and ended up throwing most of it away. Would be a lovely place to go but one thing lets it down - the customer service. The staff are... More

We visited here today on a warm and sunny day having passed by for many years and never gone in. It is a farm based ice cream parlour, and was an excellent way to pass an hour. There is adequate car parking right outside the parlour. The parlour itself consists of a very nice, clean, cafe area serving drinks as... More

I went today with 2 small children and a 9 month old baby. The children got small cones and I asked for 1 scoop for the baby to have a small taste. Abruptly informed it was either 3 scoops in a tub £2.50!! Or I had to buy a small cone and an empty tub for an additional 20p?! Do... More

I go to Goodalls each year usually in the summer when out for a walk. The ice-cream is delicious and a good price. I recommend the tub which gives you 3 different flavour scoops for £2.50. They serve tea/coffee , teacakes etc in the cafe which is small and fills up quick as it is always busy. There used to... More
