I live close to Chellow Dean and have been walking around there for at least 30 years. There are two reservoirs with paths around, one leads off into a small nature trail going towards Sandy Lane. The area is nice enough, with ducks (and the annoying seagulls) to feed, trees, and squirrels. But to be honest I prefer Ogden Water...

You can park at either end and walk through and forget you are a stones throw from the city. Feed the ducks with your kids and play with the dog, a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
