Amazing architecture!

Fabulous building and well worth a tour if you ever get chance. I enjoyed the old law courts and Deirdre Barlow stood there - lol! Iconic building and well worth a visit.

This fine building made of Yorkshire Stone in 1873 is the jewel of Bradford City Centre. A great place to work in, great as a back drop for photos and definitely worth seeing.

City hall is one of my favorite Bradford buildings .It is a place of beautiful architecture. Built 1873 in the Gothic style. It has statues of all the English monarchs since William the first.all around the outside of the building.made from local Yorkshire stone. .Every year about September they have an open day .If you think the outside is impressive then... Through the summer holidays there are tours wed pm and Thursday am to see the architecture from the inside. Lovely volunteers and art, silverware and a chance for a sneaky peek in the lord mayors rooms, the council chambers and committee rooms. Which could be dull but the volunteers bring it to life.

We were lucky enough to visit when there was a visitors open day so were shown around the building by enthusiastic guides. It is an impressive building.

City Hall is a very interesting place to visit our Ward Councillor very kindly took us around, showing us the city silver, council chamber and old Court rooms used in many TV programmes e.g. Coronation Street, Emmerdale, etc. We then went upstairs to the little restaurant for lunch, the waitresses were lovely and do a very good job, the food... I visited this city for business. At the end of my business trip, I was lucky because the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Khadim Hussain, escorted to see the city hall. You will see the history of Bradford from the different perspective if yo happen to visit the place. It is the history which is told from the people who gave... More
