This building is amongst the finest City Halls in the UK. It reflects a time when wool was king and Bradford was one of the most important textile cities in the world. The city elders were not shy in proclaiming their civic pride and wealth through the erection of this magnificent building. The high quality and craftsmanship of the finishes... More

Had the opportunity to have a guided tour of Bradford City Hall which was fascinating. Originally funded by the rag trade and extended from its original design this building is quite outstanding. Must visit the council chambers which are mahogany lined and try and have afternoon tea with the Lord Mayor! If you get the chance visit the old court... More

I got married here at the register office. Lovely, olde world setting. Who knew such a gem we had in our town. Was taking thru to the hall itself for photos on the stone staircases and outside the mayors office. Such a beautiful building and has created such lovely memories

Fabulous building and well worth a tour if you ever get chance. I enjoyed the old law courts and Deirdre Barlow stood there - lol! Iconic building and well worth a visit.

This fine building made of Yorkshire Stone in 1873 is the jewel of Bradford City Centre. A great place to work in, great as a back drop for photos and definitely worth seeing.

Built 1873 in the Gothic style. It has statues of all the English monarchs since William the first.all around the outside of the building.made from local Yorkshire stone. .Every year about September they have an open day .If you think the outside is impressive then... Through the summer holidays there are tours wed pm and Thursday am to see the architecture from the inside. Lovely volunteers and art, silverware and a chance for a sneaky peek in the lord mayors rooms, the council chambers and committee rooms. Which could be dull but the volunteers bring it to life.

We were lucky enough to visit when there was a visitors open day so were shown around the building by enthusiastic guides. It is an impressive building.
