Visited with friends from overseas to show a Bradford historic 'attraction. Have not been for many years and was so disappointed (and as a native Bradfordian ,ashamed of how Bfd Met have let this beautiful building become so run-down) The many eclectic exhibits are interesting, but the interior needs specialist cleaning especially the artworks. Also the grounds need to have... More

Bolling Hall is a museum which depicts life in a wealthy family home through the ages, from medieval times through the civil war and regency period up to and including the Victorian era, it is packed with interesting artifacts from kitchen ware to roundhead armour, childrens toys to medieval bedrooms and even has a resident ghost, the building has many... Visited many times since childhood and the enjoyment continues. Wonderful to see the old working kitchen and original features. Grounds are lovely to peruse too. A very relaxing day out.

I visited Bolling Hall, Bradford, recently having found a leaflet advertising it. This is well worth a visit being the oldest building in Bradford with some parts going back to the 14th century. It is stuff full of artifacts from the various periods of the house which are well explained. The house has important connections to the English civil war,... More

I have not visited Bolling Hall for 40 years , since we lived a mile or so away . We had forgotten how good this this museum was . Some great artifacts here , especially pertaining to the English Civil War , which the hall played a part in . The receptionist made us a coffee for a reasonable price... More

I took my daughter here because she is obsessed with history and she loved it. It has nice rooms but not a lot of things for children to do. I can't remember seeing a lift and if they haven't its a lot of stairs if you have a pram. The shop is reasonably priced but don't sell loads
