I've lived in the area all my life and driven past many times. I went to see if I could locate where a ghost photo was taken in 2012 but couldn't find it. The house was friendly and well lit and I didn't feel anywhere was creepy. The best parts are in the old tower which has three stories. This... More

Lived in Bradford all my life and never tire of visiting Bolling hall it's very atmospheric and takes you through various stages of history and how the hall played a part in the civil war up to Georgian and Victorian eras well worth a visit

It has a sort of dark feel to it which sort of heightens your senses as you go round and you really get a feeling for the people who lived their and their comings and goings - far more so than most homes of this nature I have visited - maybe its the ghosts lol!

Me and my wife were in Bradford and decided to visit here one day. Entrance is free and there is lots of interesting things to be found. The outside of the hall is a bit of a let down but don't be put off.

Do a little research and get to know about Bradford's history... Check out the Roundheads... Newcastle and Fairfax... Visit the ghost room... It's a great place to visit and I understand there are themed overnight stays! It's interesting and inexpensive for families and there's a park next door for those with children etc.

Free to go in, fantastic to walk round. A good free day out if you are in the area. I was accompanied by my partner who does some work there so got a private tour but the staff seemed attentive.

Its a little jewel, a time capsule starting in the 1300's, each room is another era, not like the typical stuffy NT properties, easy to reach only a few minutes off the M606, take your time or you may accidentally miss a room, would have liked to have a look in some of the locked rooms but what is on... Visited Bolling Hall on Saturday night with GCUK Paranormal for Ghost Hunt Inge Museum. This gives access to all of the museum and what a lovely place it is. The Curator ans his assistant were knowledgeable and helpful throughout the night. The building is beautiful and the exhibits both interesting and original. We will certainly go back again as we... I first visited Bolling Hall as a teenager on a June afternoon in 1966 and ever since it's had a special place in my heart. I think it's because it's seldom, if ever, crowded and consequently the period atmosphere is so powerful. I think it's also because its modest setting among later housing developments not far from the city centre... More
