Bolling Hall is amazing - it is hidden away in the middle of a housing estate, but so worth a visit. From the Doomsday book, to the civil war, ghosts, war, death masks, it has it all. There is something for everyone here; my favourite is the Georgian room, it’s beautiful. It is a shame the gardens aren't given a... More

A tour of Bolling Hall is like a brief journey through time. Despite its relatively small size and unassuming location, in the middle of a Bradford housing estate, its fabric oozes history, atmosphere and charm. The rooms are neatly furnished, with a host of unusual and interesting artefacts, depicting different chapters in the history of the house from medieval times,... More

Hidden within a housing estate in Bradford one simply must visit Bolling Hall. Steeped in history this Grade I listed building is a must see for anyone interested in social history or architecture. Built over different periods this building holds interest for young and old alike. Admission is free.

A tucked-away curiosity. Historic building of mixed styles and ages in the middle of a housing estate Not a pretty building and the grounds are uninspiring

Free to enter museum - love this place. Bolling Hall one of is the oldest buildings in Bradford. It is about a mile from the centre of Bradford, set in what is now Bolling Park, occupying a commanding position on a hillside. The earliest part of this building, dating from the 14th century, has been interpreted as a pele tower,... More

After many years finally visited this 14th century house. Quite impressed with the care that has been taken to bring this house alive. Each room offering clear information and staff at hand if needed. Felt the grounds were run down and a continued amount of money needs to be invested to improve and make this as important as its history... More
