I love history and architecture and this unique park marries the two. At least 40 or 50 original buildings ranging from the 1300's to the early 19th century have been relocated in all their authenticity to a huge park-like setting. Most have period furniture and are set up as if the original occupants still reside here. The 14th century marketplace... more

We took 3 Koreans (2 adults and a child) to see the museum in December. The weather was fine- which helped, of course. However, the number of buildings to visit was prodigious so even if it had been less fine, we'd have had a good time. If wet, though, an umbrela would be essential as the various "components" are widely... more

This is a great place to visit buildings that were in the path to destruction. These buildings were moved from their original places to a lovely acreage. There are guides available in some of the buildings to tell you about the history of the house and the time period it was built in. It would be a great place to... more
