Glad we did go after all

We almost didn't go because of the previous reviews but I'm glad we did. The play area is great for kids, lots to climb on and plenty of slides, our 2 year old didn't want to... read more

We almost didn't go because of the previous reviews but I'm glad we did. The play area is great for kids, lots to climb on and plenty of slides, our 2 year old didn't want to leave for 3 hours. Admittedly the food is basic fare - curly fries, chicken nuggets, etc. but what do you expect and it's really... More

I'm writing this review sitting in the Flying Fortress with my 3 year old on a Tuesday afternoon. There can't be more than a dozen other children here - so the place is really empty. As you know the place is a converted hangar with a big soft play area at one end. It's okay - but dated compared to... More

We visited the flying fortress while on holiday in the area, its brilliant for kids, its not perfect and they could certainly make little improvements that would make a massive difference , but it certainly achieved 2 hours of entertainment for the kids

Dirty table being left for long periods if time before staff come to clear them toilets stink terrible of urine, staff are slackers and are unsociable wouldn't r recommend going there unless you want to catch worms

Set under cover in an old aircraft hanger, this venue is ideal for a day out with the children. The adventure playground is shaped like an olden day aircraft and has many features in it to appeal to children of all ages, they even have a toddler section for the really little ones. Refreshments are available at realistic prices and... More

My friends and I really do call it "Hell". Have been here many, many times but to be honest I hate it. It's a seriously unpleasant place to spend time. It's very, very loud (it's hard to hold a conversation sometimes, particularly if it's raining on the big tin roof), has utterly appalling coffee (they've been told this by many... More

We arrived here just after midday with our 4 and 7 yr old... It was quite busy (expected on a not very sunny summer holiday afternoon) but after about 10 minutes a seat became free the kids had a great time in the play area which is looks very fun! Lots to do and very big. We also tried flying... More

Arrive early in the day and it is clean and tidy. A monthly pass is a bargain if you are local. My four year old loves it. I am lucky to be able to visit often but for short lengths of time as it can get really busy which means noisy! It is a great place to let children run... More
