Parish C of E church which dates from 12th century and still standing and lookin' good. Of particular interest is the Doom painting dating from early 1400s and restoration completed in 2004, the stained glass windows, and the Tall Chair occupied by the Bishop from Bonnie Scotland who was not allowed to step foot on the church ! ...etc Very... This is a factor of how some of the city of Coventry was razed to the ground by incendiary bombs in 1940 but this church was one of the survivors.Remarkably this church was not damaged during WWII and is very beautiful. Amazing stained glass windows. Intricate detail in sculptures and altars throughout, Wooden vaulted ceiling over part of the church.... More

Remarkably this church was not damaged during WWII and is very beautiful. Amazing stained glass windows. Intricate detail in scuptures and altars throughout, Wooden vaulted ceiling over part of the church. Immense organ. The great window is most impressive. Be sure to read about it to appreciate it more. That is was not damaged during the war is quite remarkable.... More

Wanted to go and see the Coventry Doom painting for ages but it took us until we were giving friends a tour of Coventry before we made it. A lovely, friendly, interesting church with lots of historical reference and local interest. Prayer Tent and Lent Tent understood but the overall scattering of notices etc could be tidier/less scattered.

We had the opportunity to tour near the ruins of the old Cathedral in the centre of Coventry. The city was massively bombed during WW II but Holy Trinity Church survived & the information about the history of the church is extremely interesting. There are books available to purchase regarding the history. We were unable to enter St. Mary's Guildhall... More

The church was a bit dull and plain but we got a very warm welcome by the volunteers and really felt a holy presence in the church good place for quiet reflection and prayer.
