This large church is in a prime spot in the centre of Coventry, overlooking Broadgate. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and well worth a visit. In particular, you shouldn't miss a look at the "Doom Painting". This is a medieval painting is high up, on an arch in the centre of the aisle.

Even if you are not a local, stop for a minute. This beautiful church full of wonder and its away from everyday hussle and bustle of life. You will find your inner peace. Exquisite windows and doom picture high above. This building has seen so much in its life. It never changes always open and inviting.

There was a piano recital Saturday afternoon, was lovely. When you visit they give you a laminated card to explain everything.

I had read about the rare painting found in this church so I wanted to see it for myself on a day visit to Coventry. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly woman, not at all snooty like some church guides are, and I mentioned I was there to see the painting so she... More

The church is lovely although close to the cathedral only the windows were damaged in WW11. It is a church full of interest and charm.
