The minister is a very friendly chap who took the time to give us an in depth talk about the 15th century wall painting depicting the last judgement. We found his take on some of the characters in the paining very amusing and enlightening.

After seeing the other cathedrals, we stopped in here. The artwork that was recently uncovered was beautiful, so was the stained glass windows and coloured ceilings. We also enjoyed reading the story behind the tall chair and looking at the bible behind the glass. Make sure you have a chat to a volunteer, without doing so we wouldn't have know... More

Beautiful church and no entry fee, donations accepted. Well worth a visit, very central, just round the corner from the cathedral.

This was the first place that we stopped when we arrived in Coventry and it was a very nice place to visit. The stained glass is beautiful and the attendants at the entrance were very pleasant. They provided my daughter with a game she could play to keep her interest while we browsed around. It's free as well and really... More

What impressed us in this church was the lovely stained glass. Some was very old and some quite new but all very beautiful. One of the windows made in 1956 was donated by brides married in the church. We went as part of heritage open weekend in Coventry and because so many of the sights are within easy walking distance managed to... I have visited this ancient Anglishchurch and was warmly welcomed in as a visitor to look around, and as a participant in their communion. This church is certainly not boring. There is a joy and life there, that could draw me back

Parish C of E church which dates from 12th century and still standing and lookin' good. Of particular interest is the Doom painting dating from early 1400s and restoration completed in 2004, the stained glass windows, and the Tall Chair occupied by the Bishop from Bonnie Scotland who was not allowed to step foot on the church ! ...etc Very...
