I visited again today as quite local. Great park for all the family and the only cost is £3.70 parking (you do need the right cash). Great walks, bird huts, children's play areas and restaurant which isn't badly priced. Gift shop also reasonable. They also have a pottery there where you can paint your own items. Great for kids average... More

They purchased the gifts through Boots gift box as they live in the south of England. We were shown to our table in the conservatory which is beautiful. (fur coat and no nickers) No table cloth, cutlery etc being... More

When you find yourself with 3+ hours to spare, I recommend wandering the grounds of Coombe Abbey Country Park. It is vast, it is beautiful and the birds are numerous. Walk to the riiver, cross and then head to the back of the Coombe Abbey Hotel. Bring your camera as you will be presented with a wide assortment of photo... More

coombe abbey is a lovely place to take a walk, take children and grandchildren. the kids play equipment is wooden and of usual design. the toilets are adequate. the cost of parking seems to be creeping ever upwards, so in order to be cost effective you need to spend at least a couple of hours here.

The park is very large with childrens play area, a small cafe, duck pond, the Abbey and numerous walks in which if you are a nature lover you can spot plenty of wild life. One complaint to the general public pick up your dog litter pleas

Coombe Abbey is a beautiful country park. Great for picnics, feeding the birds and dog walking. Only charge is for the carpark. Can get busy on sunny days for parking. I visit here several times a year. Family bbqs are the norm, highly recommended.

Apart for the high cost of parking everything else is wonderful ,went conker picking on a warm September day .Lots do different walks available most I would think suitable for wheelchairs or motorised scooters .The birds are well behaved and happily wander around .Loved the hide where we sat to try to spot the herons ( maybe next time )
