Parking isn't free, but that is the only negative point. Easy to find and not far from the M69/M6 junction. Once parked, there are nearby open areas for football, a play area for young children, a cafe and picnic tables - It can get breezy, so take a jumper. From there it is a short walk to the lake, where... More

If you love the great outdoors visit Coombe Abbey Park. Plenty carparking although quite expensive to park in my view at £3.75 a visit. You can picnic, BBQ, eat in the cafeteria or just walk. Nice kids play area near visitors centre. There's a beautiful lake full of wild life & if you follow the trail a bird hide where... More

A very enjoyable visit though it was drizzling for sometime we could walk all the way to the bird observatory and enjoyed watching the herons and other birds in their natural environment. Just wished the car park was not so muddy.

This park is undoubtedly lovely with lots of open spaces, water and wild life, children's play areas and café and information centre. We were there for 3 hours and only saw a fraction of it. We will certainly be going again. However........whilst the car park charge was perfectly reasonable for us given the time we were there and the facilities... More

As someone who has a blue badge, I went to this park on a damp day for a walk with my two dogs. I can't walk far, so I pulled into the parking for Disabled area, not knowing that since April 2014 they had started charging blue badge holders. The cost admittedly was cheaper than full price, but considering the... More

The park in itself is lovely and pleasant enough to visit. However half an hour's wait to pay for a car parking ticket is very poor. They have one of those machines that requires your full number plate to be entered and everyone struggles with this. When we arrived there were approximately 40 people in the queue for both machines.... More

way way way overpriced for the state of the car park, potholes everywhere, pay all day parking just for a 40 mins dog walk. the park is okay as you would expect from woodlands and fields

Good bird hide , tracks messy in winter ( keep bikes out) expensive parking, car park floods better food outlets, have visited places like this where people go just because of the quality of food and some nice area outside to eat.

My children and i love nothing more that a nice, relaxed walk around Coombe park, there is a lovely lake where you can feed the wildlife (ducks) you can also purchase duck food from the main information centre/ shop for £1.00.. However the parking charges are somewhat unreasonable seeing as there isn't a great deal to do at the park.... More
