Not a bad day out for a walk with the family.. If u decide to go out on the bikes however as we did there are better places to visit, which have more to offer in terms of additional things to do, i.e fishing kids parks and play areas.. Draycote water springs to mind..

Haven't been to Coombe Abbey for a few years but met a friend and their daughters for a catch up on a Monday morning as it was equal distance for both of us. The weather wasn't great, there were very few cars in the car park mostly a couple of school buses. We were both astonished by the parking costs... More

Elegant surroundings and a delight to take afternoon tea. Our menu included a glass of champagne. The afternoon tea consisted of a choice of sandwiches, home made scones, clotted cream and jam. Little dainties of chocolate mouse and various cakes. A choice of teas and coffees to compliment the food. Service was excellent and refills were offered. A lovely place... More

What a lovely park and nature reserve spent nearly 4 hours here and loved every minute of it. We saw nesting herons at the Nature Reserve which was interesting and they have graded walks which is ideal for taking children around learning about flowers and animals. The café was very good for snacks and lunches plus very reasonable.

We love it here, my son enjoys the grounds, woods and wildlife as much as we do. Great for den building, enjoying woodland, mature and established gardens, great play area and open fields for games. Even a decent coffee at a decent price.

Stayed at the nearby hotel, Coventry as so lucky to have a Capability Brown park so close. Well laid out and beautiful grounds, good for walks ( 2 mile one well signed posted) and children's play area.

I love it here. Really good to go when the weather's nice for a lovely walk. Good day out for the kids too. Ice cream vans, pony rides, duck feeding, park, play area. I really enjoy going for picnics and walks along the castle.
