Coombe Abbey is a good free day out, I remember always having fun on the play areas and feeding the ducks when I was younger but feel now that there is less to do if you are not a child. My boyfriend and I visited and there wasn't much for us and the shop was a bit rubbish but we... More

Coombe abbey is a lovely place to stay for the night. The food is impeccable and I would certainly recommend that you try their delicious Sunday dinner. The rooms are big and are decorated accordingly. If you are looking to stay anywhere in Coventry I would highly recommend here. Also it has a magnificent garden with walkway around the place... Excellent day out within 15 minutes from home and only costs £3 to park, what more could you want. Somewhere to let the kids run around.

We had a pleasant experience the park is well kept and looked after. Parking was easy enough plenty to look at a small cafe on site, would certainly recommend this place.

Extensive grounds including water features designed by Capability Brown. Well worth a visit but there are car parking charges. The hotel on the grounds is private but you can wander around the grounds themselves as much as you want. Lots of ducks etc and the ponds are full of fish. Nice relaxing experience on a sunny afternoon. There is a... More

Easy to become stir crazy so we ventured out to our local country park. Car park costs £ 3.70 for the day unless you brought in something the size of a minibus! A new walk had been opened up along the south side of the lake but we opted to take the now 'middle' distance one of 2.5miles which keeps... More

Visited there with our 2 year old. She loved the ducks and swans and running around. Perfect place to get them tired. Car parking was 3.75£ till dusk & no other entry fees. A very nice place and we all had a nice time.

I visit coombe abbey every week with my 3 kids. We also eat at the cafe every week. I felt I had to write a review just for cafe! The food is very good, especially the breakfast baps or the salad! I used to love the soups but that has stopped at the moment. Prices are reasonable and every effort... More
