Just walked into the square from the car park and there she was - stunning! Very apt position for her to be in the centre of her home town. If you go to The Priory Visitors Centre and look at the plaque at the corner of the site it states that that was the place of a former church where... More

Fifty some odd years ago I learned the story of Lady Godiva riding naked on horseback. How fascinating, particularly to a young boy. Shortly thereafter there was the hit song - Lady Godiva, which needless to say, further stimulated my enthusiasm and curiosity. Imagine my surprise while on a business trip to Coventry, while suffering from severe jet lag, I... More

Not really an attraction, its just the centre piece of the square. Great positioning... Nothing more to say

Saw the statue as we walked passed the statue could be better with information boards around telling the story of Lady Godiva.

Situated next to the peeping Tom clock, veiw on the hour to experience the full effect. A beautiful statue for a beautiful Lady. Worth to look into the history of Lady Godiva beforehand.

A bit of a disappointment, nothing to tell the story of Godiva, and you can't take a decent photograph because of the people sitting around the base. give it a miss and tour the other better attractions.

I love the story of Lady Godiva, therefore I was enthused to visit the city that birthed it. But I was sadly disappointed when all I found was a statue in the square to commemorate her. My disappointment came when I saw there is no explanation as to why this a naked lady was riding a horse through town. I... More

I think if you like to take the typical tourist photo, you should go, but don't make a point of it. There are so many other great things to do in Coventry...

Impressive statue in the city, reminding us of one of the things Coventry is known for. We came across it whilst shopping, it's in the centre of the town.

An excellent statue in the middle of town. Not many people from outside of town know that the legend of Lady Godiva is linked to our great city and so it is great that such a nice statue is here to commemorate her. It is always kept in excellent condition.
