The staff are very friendly and there is a decent choice of drinks available. It's quite a pricey cinema, especially if you get a sofa seat but it's very relaxed and comfortable inside. Incase anyone's wondering, the front row seating is well worth it and it's not too close to the screen. Very comfy seats with a foot rest.

We've enjoyed several visits to the Electric Cinema now, each time booking a sofa and enjoying a bottle of Pinot while watching a film.... It really is a great way to spend a lazy saturday afternoon. The staff are very friendly, the sofa's very comfortable and the place is just the right size to be warm and cozy - there... More

We got early so go to sit on the sofas, which have a little ledge infront for drinks etc. all the staff were so friendly and their personalities really shone through which speaks wonders as jobs in... This was my second visit to the Electric cinema. I visited with my husband who had not been before and we booked a sofa before hand. It was great because you can order snacks to your seat and they bring them to you during the film. Last we visited the new cinema in the mail box but I think the... More

Been to this cinema several times and leaving Birmingham soon unfortunately but this is the number spot I recommend people to try and attend before they leave Birmingham. Love this place so much I'm not even going to go into details. Atmosphere is great, seats perfect, bar is nice touch and when I get a raise maybe i'll be able... More

I absolutely love The Electric. It is the perfect size, a great price for what you get. Yes, it's a little more than average, but compare it to the Odeon on New Street, and well, this is value for money. To have tea in a mug in the cinema watching something brilliant (or rubbish, they can't help the film quality)... More

Wow! we just loved this little cinema. First of all the service - I phoned for tickets and the receptionist really couldn't have been more helpful and good humoured. The cinema is really quaint (only two small theatres) we booked a sofa at the back (Hepburn sofa) which was incredibly comfortable and we felt really at home. We were invited... More

This is a tad more expensive than the large, shiny cinemas we normally go to, but well worth the extra couple of pounds per ticket. The opportunity to buy decent snacks (we had pitta bread and hummus) and drinks (gin and tonic in a glass!) was gratefully used, and we paid a bit more again for a sofa seat at... More

Had the pleasure of going to this cinema on 28th of February as part of a gift bought for Christmas have to say what a lovely night out the cinema has so much charm, warmth and nostalgia. We had the comfort of a two seater settee with complimentary wine, I have read people critising the snacks & prices but I... More

We visit here regularly, we love it. The last thing we watched was the theory of everything, we went all out & booked a sofa with waiter service, it was an ace night.
