While staying in Birmingham for a few days we decided we wanted to visit here to see as it's such a historical sight... Had a great evening - lovely looking cinema with character and history, good staff and well priced. Had a couple of glasses of wine and some houmous and chorizo while watching the film which was a nice... More

I love this cinema so much. It's got a lot of character and history (I believe it is the oldest working cinema in the UK). It plays a lot of independent films that you'd struggle to find elsewhere as well as selected blockbusters. You can choose from standard seats which have been lovingly refurbished or for a little more on... More

This tiny cinema is packed full of personality, not to mention comfy seats, interesting films and tasty food options (chorizo bites, tailored cocktails and homemade cupcakes, anyone?). If you are feeling especially fancy it is worth splashing out on one of the sofas - they are a bit pricy at £12ish a ticket but it makes it into much more... More

A freind recommended this cinema to us, and I wasn't disappointed! When you arrive you feel like your stepping back in time which makes coming to this cinema that extra special. Whne you book your ticket you also get unusual tickets which is an added touch! We watched Captain america! You can purchase alcohol, coookies, nachoes etc so it so... More

I couldn't wait to visit this cinema when I moved here last year, it being the oldest electric cinema in the country, and I love it's quirky charm, and mix of history and new technology in the 'text waiter' service and sofa seating, which is a great novelty. Love the bar, complete with absinthe fountain, and cocktails created to go... More

We have visited this cinema a few times and it is always a treat. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Drinks and snacks are quite expensive, but for special occasions it is a great experience. Often showing films that are not available at other cinemas in the area. We would recommend.
