I met a friend for a drink and catch up after work. We originally sat in the lobby area, the settee were comfortable however, there were lots of cups, plates etc that were there for a long time before staff cleared them. We vacated to the bar area, the staff in there were so lovely and hard working. We ordered... More

I have visited the MAC may times and the hot food is okay. We decided to have a sandwich as most tables were taken by the single coffee drinker with a laptop so we sat in the lobby. Tables for two would be easy to fit in and cater for this market place. The stale, sad excuse for sandwiches that... More

Although there are other cinemas nearer to our home, we always choose to go to the MAC. The seats are comfy, you can book tickets in advance (and collecting them is an easy process) and there is definitely no food or drink allowed in the auditorium. Staff are always really friendly too. They show a good selection of foreign language... More

I have been coming here for years for shows, cinema etc and have no complaints at all about these. However visits are easily spoiled when you visit the cafe. This reminds me of a school canteen with its long queues and the sheer volume due to the poor acoustics in the area - not a pleasant place to sit and... More

I would have loved to give a great review as there are so many positives about this place. The problem with our visit today was firstly the many disabled parking spaces were filled with non-disabled vehicles. The staff said the Park owned the land and they wanted to make more disabled spaces ...........for other people to use? Next we needed... More

First visit but won't be our last. Went to see Sam Sweeney' s "Made in the Great War" in the theatre. Impressed with this as avenue. Lots of free parking and easy to find. Friendly staff, looked to have good food in cafe and the theatre was a good studio type venue.

Easy to find as it is opposite Edgbaston cricket ground. Free car park. Annoying group of people at entrance handing out forcefully religious literature! Lovely feel as you enter. Friendly staff. Interesting art. Plenty of seating for visitors and a cafe too. Thourly enjoyed the visit. You canmake a donation if you wish. Nice shop. Will come again.

It's great to be able to call in here and just see what is happening. We have enjoyed the Robert Therrien exhibition (on until 7th Sept 2014), some free music in the foyer, and the art on the walls of the building. The workshop programme for both children and adults looks great - wish that I had more time here... More

A vibrant really alive Arts Centre in the middle of the most gorgeous park. Fantastic location, superb staff and the most amazing exhibition,Black Smoke Rising, by an artist called TimShaw. Stunning and unforgettable! Lucky to be there on the last day of it. There are many courses being run here, music, theatre, ceramics. It was really busy there on a... More
