Went to Woodgate with the grandkids but was very disappointed, not a lot to see around this place, the visitor centre cafe is ok for a cup of tea , the staff are very friendly and helpful but the cafe itself is very run down, could do with a good refurbishment.maybe I'll give this place another visit in the future... Visited for the 1st time in many years on hunt for owls in the big hoot & enjoyed a really nice walk with our dogs. If going with a dog be aware of the closeness & limited fencing to the horse field when you first set off by the coffee shop. The paths are well laid out & quite gentle... More

Went for a walk with my other half and it was so peaceful. Cafe was lovely and the food was delicious. There's a fair size play area for children and the horses were lovely.

Good park used to love taking my dog up here to see the horses before he passed away. But I do still sometimes cycle up here.

Great for a fun day out with the family and walking the dog. Park has a play area which is great for small children and a small farm too when it's open!! The riding school has great facilities for all ages and abilities, worth checking it out if you like horses.

Another stop off on our Big hoot owl hunt. A nice spacious park for walking the dog. An urban farm (to check out next time), a cafe and a nice playground. Worth a wander if you're local.
