I had always assumed that the Nelson monument, erected in 1809 was the first monument remembering him. After reading on tripadvisor.co.uk's review on the nelson monument, I found out that the first one remembering him was erected in Glasgow the fascination got the better of me and I just had to visit the second oldest Nelson monument. Thanks for that... more
