A well-loved park for local people

A great park to wander around, lots of lovely flowerbeds and a pond to feed the ducks from. Beautifully landscaped with 2 children play areas. A lovely cafe to have tea and cake in.

Birmingham City Council you have to change the management at the Victorian Tea rooms: My mother and I ordered two cappuccinos and two toasted sandwiches at a total cost of £14. I did think this was expensive but didn't want to spoil the occasion and mention it to my Mom. But when I tasted the coffee, I use the word... More

I've been to Kings Heath Park many times even before I had such close connections with it as I now have. Earlier this year a group of us older men were granted permission to use what used to be the 'Potting Shed' as a base for our Charity's 'Shed'. So, now I visit several times a week as we try... I moved to Kings Heath from Moseley and had passed the park enroute but had never been until until I bought a dog. It's a gem, Its really lovely all year round. The gardener and grounds people work hard in keeping it looking so good. It's used by all ages. It's free. It's doggy friendly. There are designated areas for... More

Lovely park, great for a walk or a family day out. There are 2 playgrounds, one for toddlers and one for older children. There is a café with a small lake next to it and there is also a path that goes round the whole park with a hill that is perfect for bike rides and there are also tennis... More

The park is really clean and its big enough to do a little exploring. Ideal picnic spot - Also not very far from Highbury park so it can be part of a longer walk too.

A very nice park with a number of different areas including car park, a large open green area for hosting events like the gardening show and funfairs. There is a childenres play area and a wooded area down the bottom towards the train track. There is also a really nice tearoom.

I have visited this park for over forty years, no small animals & birds are around anymore as I recall as child though. Shame the toilet facilities aren't better for people. Excellent Victorian tea room. Plenty of space to picnic, push wheelchairs, play kick a about.

I live in the countryside but wish we had somewhere like this park to walk around instead of country lanes with traffic! It's very well maintained and the ground staff must work hard to keep it looking so nice. There are play areas, courts etc for all ages, a tea room (which was closed when we visited early evening) and... More

An excellent day in this park, very well maintained lawn and bright vibrant flower beds situated throughout the park and vast open space to prevent overcrowdedness, the only down side to the park is the toilets adjacent to the bowling green seemed to be slightly unclean, I do not know if this is permanently the case or if it was...
