I have to say the staff that who were working there last weekend were extremely rude and it has not been a pleasure to right this comment. My elderly friend was asked to get up off the chair while he waited for his friend to use the toilet ,he was told if you are not eating here you cant stay ,I... I rarely write reviews but I've been left so angry by my visit to the tea rooms. The woman who I presume is the manager is one of the rudest people I have come across. We booked a table for 8 (including 4 kids aged 1-5). We ordered 3 kids afternoon teas expecting what is advertised and what we have... More

Kings Heath Park is in itself a nice place to go, walk, sit and look at trees. It also has a very nice cafe, run with care and attention to detail. The staff are really pleasant and there's a nice range of things to eat and drink. They have a plant sale area next to the cafe with glasshouses, and... More

I have given a 1 star rating for the cafe (would have given 0 stars if possible) but 5 stars for the park as it is well maintained, clean and attractive. I have been going to Birmingham for over 20 years visiting my sister. I also lived there for a few years. On each visit to Birmingham my sister and... More

Having lived in Birmingham all of my life (nearly 30 years) I am embarrassed to say today was my first visit to this park. We took our young children who thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. So much to see, lots of fruit plants to enjoy, we will be returning when the fruit is in season : ) Great place to... The gardens are beautiful and there are many plants to buy at reasonable prices. The tea room was very disappointing. Coffee ok but we had toasted teacakes. They were smeared with some greasy butter alternative which was very nasty. The jam that came with it was unidentifiable and also nasty. Toilet facitilies were poor and in need of renovation.

I have only recently become a regular customer of this establishment, despite living close by for almost 30 years. The staff are friendly and efficient, and I have yet to have any complaints about the service. The prices are maybe a little high, but it's far better sitting within the park than it is sitting in an similar eatery overlooking... More

This is the second time I have done a review on this attraction. I was hoping that this review would be a better one but unfortunately that is not going to be the case. Myself and my husband used to visit the park and tea rooms on a regular basis, at least once a week. However, we had a very... More

We visited the Victorian Tea Rooms as a group, including three young children. In the first instance we were told that the tea rooms were full, so we would have to wait outside in the rain, rather than in the lobby area “in case we disturb the office workers”. When we are seated we were told that the young children... More

A lovely quiet park full space. Has beautiful flowers & nature. There is a cafe. A great place for kids with plenty of space to play. I was disappointed with dogs running around freely, not on leads. Overall a wonferful, relaxing park.
