I visited the Victorian Tea Rooms in Kings Heath Park at the request of an old friend I was visiting, we arrived at the tea rooms and were greeted with a lovely 'Good morning, how are you?' We proceeded to order our lunch. Tea, sandwiches, soup and a dessert each came to just under £9 each! The staff were friendly... More

Excellent park , wonderful flowers and exceptionally vibrant tearoom . The atmosphere was wonderful and the cake was delightful . There was a children's party in the lovely glass conservatory and the children were crafting away .

I've just been to the lovely Kings Heath Park and popped in to the cafe to get a takeout hot chocolate. After the young man on the counter brought out my cup, he handed me a lid so I could put it on myself. Not easy when I'm trying to juggle a dog lead and purse and phone. I was... More

Just been for a coffee to the Victorian tea rooms in Kings Heath park. Nearly didn't go because of bad reviews but glad I did. The staff were pleasant, helpful and a cafetiere of filter coffee and biscuits for two at £5 was reasonable value. Perhaps previous reviewers were unlucky or may be there was a staff change. I would... More

We love Kings Heath Park and the Tea Rooms have massive potential but they are a real let down and are overpriced. I was there recently and paid £5 for a small pot of ice cream and a rather dry slice of coffee and walnut cake. I didn't bother to complain as I have done in the past and have... More

I have to say the staff that who were working there last weekend were extremely rude and it has not been a pleasure to right this comment. My elderly friend was asked to get up off the chair while he waited for his friend to use the toilet ,he was told if you are not eating here you cant stay ,I... I rarely write reviews but I've been left so angry by my visit to the tea rooms. The woman who I presume is the manager is one of the rudest people I have come across. We booked a table for 8 (including 4 kids aged 1-5). We ordered 3 kids afternoon teas expecting what is advertised and what we have... More

Kings Heath Park is in itself a nice place to go, walk, sit and look at trees. It also has a very nice cafe, run with care and attention to detail. The staff are really pleasant and there's a nice range of things to eat and drink. They have a plant sale area next to the cafe with glasshouses, and... More

I have given a 1 star rating for the cafe (would have given 0 stars if possible) but 5 stars for the park as it is well maintained, clean and attractive. I have been going to Birmingham for over 20 years visiting my sister. I also lived there for a few years. On each visit to Birmingham my sister and... More

Having lived in Birmingham all of my life (nearly 30 years) I am embarrassed to say today was my first visit to this park. We took our young children who thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. So much to see, lots of fruit plants to enjoy, we will be returning when the fruit is in season : ) Great place to...
