This square is located between the more well regarded Victoria Square and the Paradise Forum shopping precinct, through which you can access Centenary Square. Many people treat this square as a thoroughfare, but I recommend that you stop and take a look. The façades of the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and Birmingham Town Hall are quite beautiful and although... More

This is a beautiful little square. It's surrounded on all sides by good architecture, except for the Adrian boult hall. This concrete box is due for demolition. The Birmingham Central Library is on this square. Most people think this building is ugly but it's one of the best brutalist buildings in the country. English Heritage have tried to give it... More

Chamberlain Square is the small square you walk through between Victoria and Centenary Squares in Birmingham city centre. It is a bit forgotten and is in desperate need of a redesign, which luckily it is getting in 2015. Bordering the square you have the Museum and Art Gallery, in a lovely Victorian building with the towering 'Big Brum' clocktower attached.... More

Walk through here so many times without really noticing it maybe when the old library is demolished there will be an improvement it has town hall on one side and museum on another two beautiful buildings and with the steps fountain and statue of Chamberlain could be made nicer I think

Very old looking but it does link Victoria Square and the shopping centre with centenary square and beyond. Quite nice to sit on the steps in the sun, but be careful of the pigeons.

... compared to it's close neighbours, but well worth a couple of still moments to view the architecture on offer on a couple of it's sides (in particular the magnificent B. C. Museum and Art Gallery frontage) and to admire the Memorial Fountain.

We visited here as the German Christmas Markets are here again. The place as you can imagine was packed. It was standing room only and trying to move though the crowds was near impossible. Most of the people there were rude and drunk and just barging into everyone and refusing to let people get past. There were families there with... More

A square attached to Victoria Square that really offers nothing to stop and look at, you end up passing through it and paying no attention to it.

This is a very popular place where locals hang out. Near to the hustle and bustle of the A38, but a lovely link between the city centre and Centenary Square

was walking from one business meeting to another and had opportunity to walk through Birmingham city centre. Thoughts that the place was looking a lot cleaner and in particular Chamberlain Square was really smart. I am sure that visitors to the city will have become increasingly impressed with what the city has been doing - well done, good for business,... More
