Though not huge, it is ideal for walks along the waterway and among the trees. Since it was early in the year there were very few flower beds but I would imagine it will be beautiful in a few weeks time. Good parking facilities however, there were no bathrooms open.

Great place to stick your earphones in and forget about everything. Even when it's busy it's somehow peaceful, always see great breeds of dogs there too (labradoodle puppies? check) Joggers/runners/walkers always about of all ages and sizes which is great. I went to start jogging and you don't feel stared at which was a concern of mine. Ponds are clean... More

Also right next to the Mac Exhibition Centre / and Wildlife Conservation Park (Nature Centre). Therefore a perfect end or beginning to a family day out, plenty of space for dog walking, bike... I took part in the Birmingham half marathon and it went through the park. Gorgeous surroundings, pretty walk ways and very well kept. I'll go back and visit...not for running!

Cannon Hill Park is ideal for a family day out. It is really big and pretty with plenty for kids to do and see. Plenty of parking. Ice cream vans on-site and a café at the MAC. Can get busy during the weekend and school holidays. Great for riding your bike. Word of warning the park is full of dogs... More

It's a lovely day out especially with the animal centre so close, the only thing that lets the park down is a lot of birds mess on the grass making it impossible to sit on and overpricing of food and drinks onsite. Fully recommend taking a picnic if you can find somewhere clean enough to sit on.
