Running event

I took part in the Birmingham half marathon and it went through the park. Gorgeous surroundings, pretty walk ways and very well kept. I'll go back and visit...not for running!

Great park with many monuments to look at from a deep history. the lake is also worth the trip with its wildlife and boating activities Birmingham at its best, and only walking distance to the Edgbaston Test ground

Cannon Hill Park is ideal for a family day out. It is really big and pretty with plenty for kids to do and see. Plenty of parking. Ice cream vans on-site and a café at the MAC. Can get busy during the weekend and school holidays. Great for riding your bike. Word of warning the park is full of dogs... More

It's a lovely day out especially with the animal centre so close, the only thing that lets the park down is a lot of birds mess on the grass making it impossible to sit on and overpricing of food and drinks onsite. Fully recommend taking a picnic if you can find somewhere clean enough to sit on.

great open spaces, lots of activities -a really good day out, especially if fine for a picnic. Take a ride in the land train. Tea rooms good value for money.

Nice park with all amenities, restaurant, cafe, art centre. Suitable for everyone. It has on site parking including disabled parking. It's a big park with tennis courts, boating, well kept lawns and flower beds and a greenhouse. It puts on lots of different events for the community

It is such a gem, large pond, traditional floral beds and wilder more untamed areas. In addition it has the mac which is just fabulous; cafe, cinema, theatre, outdoor auditorium

I went because I'd been told it was a fabulous park, it was very boring, very flat and not much to do but walk around and go home. Men with no tshirts on with their huge bellies hanging out, not really a sight I wanted my son to see to be honest. I know it was summer but really! Play... More

Great open space just a stone's throw from the city centre and Edgbaston Cricket ground. Lovely nature reserve, great kids walks and playgrounds and the newly refurbished MAC arts complex has loads going on and a good cafe
