This was a spur of the moment visit with a friend. On a dull Saturday, we enjoyed discovering the delights of this moated house. Although our 'timed' ticket allowed us 15 minutes in the house, there was no rush...we stayed well over an hour. The development of the house from the 15th century is remarkable, and the priest holes are... More

Visited for a few hours on our way to Birmingham. House really unusual and the information provided by the guides brought the house to life. Grounds pleasant to walk around in winter - would be great in summer. We stopped for lunch and thought it good too. Obviously popular with locals too.

We loved our visit to Baddesley Clinton. Set in lovely countryside, the house looks stunning, set in its own moat. The staff were so enthusiastic about the house and surrounds, they took a personal pride in it, and were very knowledgeable and informative. The house had the feel of being 'lived in', with authentic furniture. Loved the stories about the... More

Very happy with our first visit to Baddesley Clinton. Went for Mothers day, had a tour around the house, and found out lots of interesting facts about the rooms and the priest holes. Went in for Lunch in the Tea Room was super yummy. But with all NT property's costly! Had a lovely walk around the grounds! And left with... More

Lovely house, nice food, good walks, relaxing. I like the second hand bookshop too. My favourite bit is the priest holes/history.

Took my three, aged 12, 9 and 6, along with a picnic and enjoyed the whole day! Plenty for everyone to do and learn from the history of the house.

I have visited this place many times and each time the experience is different. Each season paints a unique picture and the visiting wildlife alters month by month. I was thrilled to see the swallows nests inside the entrance to the house and I will continue to visit again and again

Decided to go on a random Monday for a look round. What a hidden gem, and they talked me into becoming a national trust member! It was a great insight into the past with a knowledgable guild in every room. It was a pity it was so cold that we couldn't take advantage of the grounds and walks. The nearby... More
