This lovely manor house set in acres of grounds is wonderful for families to walk in. The walks mostly begin in the large car park with a map to show where you can go and are well marked as you go along. Crossing the moat you just know that you are going to get a warm welcome and we did... More

As National Trust family members we visited here after spending the morning at another local NT property, ('Coughton Court' at Alcester), and we found 'Baddesley Clinton' the nicer of the two... The old manor house surrounded by the moat and set in lovely grounds was simply stunning. With its rich history, stories of priests hiding from priest hunters, art and... More

This was a lovely place to visit the gardens are natural and you walk around a lake very peaceful, the house is interesting nod I was fascinated by the priest holes and history of the place. And very unusual for a house it has a moat around it.

Having just joined the National Trust we decided to visit Baddesley Clinton and nearby Packwood House on the same day.  Baddesley Clinton is a most beautiful place, even on a cold autumn day. The moated house is a photographers dream and even the gardens are stunning.  There was a massive display of dahlias with hundreds of varieties named. Personally not... More

Lots of history in an historic home you could actually live in. Loved the downstairs living room and dining room. The outside setting was lovely too.

We really enjoyed our visit to this house. It reminded us of one that we had visited in Kent which is also moated. We found the guides very knowledgeable and were full of interesting facts that made our visit so special. it was surprising to discover that the moat came first then the house. It is quite a homely place... More

Living nearby, we are frequent visitors to this lovely property and its interesting grounds. We always enjoy the walk around the lake, the gardens and vegetable plot where interesting and amusing characters often appear! You need to visit to know what I mean! The pressure is off a little with the catering as nearby pack wood house now also having... More
