A real mixed catch

I have such mixed feelings about the sea life centre. The price (if you don't have a discount deal or voucher) is way too high. It would be different if this was an all day attraction, we took our time walking around and it only took a couple of hours. The penguins were amazing, probably my favourite part. The rays... More

Small, nothing was very natural. Poor sharks were so bored they were asleep on TOP of the tunnel roof.

I'm not one for getting round to writing reviews, unless they're either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Unfortunately Sea Life is the latter!! We drove 60 miles to visit, when we arrived we had to queue for half an hour despite having pre booked and paid for tickets online the previous day! Once we were in we spent the entire... More

The sea life centre is a decent size, especially if you are going with small children. There is a lot to see and and it is a fun day out. There is a 4D screening of a scene from Happy Feet which was a unique experience and a lot of fun and altogether it is a lovely place to spend... More

I would not recommend this place as an attraction, the price is high and the queue is horrendous just to see some poor sea creatures used for entertainment and money. Just go snorkeling it's probably cheaper, more fun and more ethical :)

I enjoyed the Birmingham sea life centre and guessing from my sons expression, he did too. The 4d cinema was a great experience. Shop near the exit great for purchasing memorabilia.

We tried to visit the Sea Life with our little one. When we arrived there was an extremely long queue and it wasn't the best of weathers. The estimated time was over an hour, when you have a small child it's just not plausible and a lady coming out told us there was no point anyway as there were so... More

The Sealife is a wonderful place to spend a few hours; preferably with children. The place is very big inside and is a little on the expensive side, particularly if there is a few in your party. The 4D cinema wasn't working when we were there but the same movie was shown in 2D instead??? Overall a nice place to... More
