Excellent,V.I.P ticket experience, we had champagne to start with olives, salted peanuts and cheese twists. We were then escorted to our table for the three course meal. We chose to have coffee in the interval as we felt we wouldn't have had enough time for dessert and didn't want to rush it. Meal was excellent, staff were friendly, welcoming and couldn't... More

Have been her every year for the last 10 years to watch pantomime. Great venue, really helpful staff, great that you can order drinks and ice-cream ready for the interval. Comfy chairs, and booster seats available for smaller children. Great day out and lots of restaurants nearby for a meal post or pre theatre.

The theatre was full to capacity and I thin we all arrived together but still collecting pre booked tickets was efficient. Long long queue for the bar but ordering for the interval was easy and wothwhile. Seats in circle were good, comfortable with a good view of the stage.

Recently retired I booked the matinee performance of Matthew Bournes` ballet Sleeping Beauty. The theater is easy to find and a short walk from the railway station. Arriving early I popped into the box office and upgraded my ticket. Despite a queue the staff were quick and efficient and so very helpful. I had a nice lunch, and then settled... More

We have been asked to watch a Panto Aladdin as part of late Christmas show. The place was packed full of people. And we are allocated to our seat which is B row. The atmosphere of the theatre is just lovely with balcony on the top fit for Royals and VIP. Lovely red velvety seat. It has bar and snack... More

After not being to a panto since kids a few of us decided to go as a group of adults. I thought we would stand out like a sore thumb but we had an amazing time great panto. The ONLY thing I thought was a negative was the price of the pop and sweets etc.

I have been to the Hippodrome several times and have never been disappointed. The last show we saw was The nutcracker, what a brilliant way to get that Christmas feeling. In the interval there is a bar you can go and a little tipple, which you can pre-order to save you waiting. The theatre isn't to big, so no matter ware you are... Came here with my boyfriend to watch Lion King! Such a fantastic evening that I will remember forever. The organisation on such a busy event was great and very well done. Security on hand and ready as venue was very crowded. Lion King was great to watch and would definitely go back to watch more!! Great event.
