I have been here twice with fiance and both times we have really enjoyed it. The second time we visited was brilliant when we saw Birmingham royal ballet's production of Sleeping Beauty were they had set up activities for the children which included trying on ballet shoes and costumes. I was slightly jealous that there wasn't anything in terms for... More

I go to the Hippodrome a lot, in my opinion it is by far the best theatre in the West Midlands. The customer service is always outstanding, the seats are comfortable and the stage is huge. On the production side I've never seen a bad performance at the Hippodrome, if you want a great night out go there, you won't... More

Love the Hippodrome - you cannot beat it for seating - just didn't particularly enjoy Wicked. I booked the tickets 18 months prior and with all the hype just expecting more, so a little disappointed in the show.

My friend and I had a fabulous afternoon at The Hippodrome, delicious lunch in The Circle Restaurant, superb staff, especially Luke who served us.I love this theatre, the ballet was magical, indeed it was a memorable day, only spoilt by a rather sullen young lady on the bar opposite the stalls who couldn't manage a smile or civil answer to a... The service was snappy as you would expect but the food was good from a perfectly balanced menu and a good wine list too. Eat before commencement and puds served in the interval.

Went to see Cats which was a great performance with the dance routines being in almost perfect timing. Singing and costumes were excellent. Having said that, this is a review of the Hipp and not really the show. Having been to many of the venues in Birmingham for theatre etc, I can say without a doubt this is streets ahead... More

All I can say is this visit was compleatley different to last years in a good way. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything at all. The seating was comfortable and the airconditioning was working :-). The performance itself was also amazing. I'll be bringing my mum back next time so she can see how much it... More

Saw the musical Cats, whilst I had previously travelled to London to watch this was quite some years ago so I only remember the songs and highlights. The scenery was good previously in London we were in the gods looking down,at the hip we had a better view and this also gave me the impression of a ballet as the'cats' gave...
