Went last night to see Parade..................stunning with several 10 out of 10's. Counted 7 cast members who would have scored 10 out of 10 and I was a London theatre critic for 11 years................fabulous treat. The theatre is so cheap compared to other theatres and we have seen every show there this year with so much STUNNING acting....................get there and... More

Live in the Jewellery Quarter, so The Crescent is the nearest theatre venue for us to frequent, and we have done for over ten years now. A good, diverse mixture of entertainment is always available; plays, musicals, live music, etc. so there is always something to whet your appetite. The bar area is adequate for ones needs, with most things... More

Went to the opening night of this show. Having never even heard of this theatre I wasn't sure what to expect but it's the most gorgeous place. Lovely welcome from Lurch as we arrived and then to the bar for drinks and snacks. The show was amazing produced by Worcester on stage. The set & costumes were brilliant and the... More

Came here to see Michael Wolter's new opera Ava's Wedding. The venue is very nice and the opera was fantastic. Didn't visit the bar so can't comment on that but all in all a lovely evening.

What a lovely theatre this is and what FABTASTIC plays and shows they have on. It is the home of several theatre groups inc. Birmingham Acting School.....O/H and I have seen over 2,500 productions over 45 years and we have seen 6 that were acted at the zenith of acting....two of them have been at the Crescent. It really is... More

A lovely theatre with lots of character. The performance of The Witches was not what we expected but enjoyable all the same. Lots of friendly staff, comfortable seats and relaxing bar. Tucked away from other attractions in the city centre but well worth a visit.

What can I say....a superb evening of Christmas entertainment. The standard of supetb musicianship by Crescent Players is enhanced by their ability to project the selection of songs/readings....ie they can also act.Beats going to a carol concert.

Went to see Lord of the flies on Sunday 14th Sept 2014. Well acted, directed and portrayed. Well done guys! Great little theatre in Birmingham and excellently priced. Seats have plenty of leg room with a great view of the stage from all seats. Ice cream again well priced. Bar comfortable and again well priced. What more can one ask... More

This ames a great evening combined with a meal at Ju Ju's (arrive at 6pm, theatre 7pm onwards). Small 300+ seats with good bar. Selection of plays / operas and musical entertainment all at good price. We went to see the Magic Flute. In warm weather theatre can get quite warm but apart from that makes a good venue. Easy... I went to see An Inspector Calls in the Main House and the whole experience was fantastic! The theatre is small so gives a very intimate feel and the sightlines are excellent! The prices for ice-creams are also very reasonable and programmes only cost £1! I DEFINITELY wouldn't hesitate to come back to this theatre again!
