A lovely intimate venue. I went to see a midsummer's nights dream with my family and it was lovely. Every one was really friendly. Lots of stairs though!

Last night we went to an excellent guitar concert in the smaller theatre downstairs and had a very enjoyable evening. This is a very cosy theatre with friendly, helpful staff that shows a range of theatrical shows from the resident company as well as outside bookings. The bar upstairs is comfortable and the barman was very welcoming. Definitely worth going... More

With a group of friends we attended the Irish Night here on the 1st of March. It was an excellent evening of first rate entertainment. The theatre is small but this makes for a very intimate atmosphere, we were so close to the stage we were nearly in the show! The staff were very friendly though I thought the ice... More

We went to the theatre to see 'Irish night' this was an excellent show marred by the amount of people who could not be bothered to take their seats before the show started, some of the audience even arrived ten to fifteen minutes after the show started which meant that the whole audience was distracted by people standing up, it... Because it caters for amateur groups...don't assume the quality will be any less than productions by professional companies. What they do provide is a wonderful array of choice...at bargain prices. Perhaps they don't have to worry about bums on seats and choose to perform what they want. Watch out for the Sunday matinee productions at £8. Ideal for the" lives... More

Just visited to see Elixir of Love, which was excellent. Comfortable seats and a good view of the stage, even from our seats on the far edge of a row. Parking is very close and, by getting a card from the box office, there is a reduced charge. The only down side for me was the lack of decaf coffee... More

Probably the friendliest theatre in the city. The shows (whilst amateur) are always delivered with enthusiasm and belief. The welcome is unvaryingly friendly. A pleasure to visit. And never expensive!!

We thought we would watch something different for us. We enjoyed "A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum." It was funny and entertaining with a good cast.

Went to a Saturday afternoon show. This was my first visit to this theatre to see Death & The Maiden. It's an intriguing place and the diversity of the people was interesting. I'll go back & may take the kids this time.
