Came here for work this week. Never been before and it was so easy to find. Parking was pain free and the shuttle bus was easy to find with a minimum waiting time. Signage around the centre was clear and plentiful. Lots of facilities for a quick or long break. Great for business meetings and events.

Myself and my husband were visiting the Spring Trade Fair today, which seems to be one of the best days to go, as was the last day and was really quiet, being a wheelchair user it made life so much easier not having to fight with crowds, The disabled accesses, etc was spot on and would say is very disabled... I only went to the Spring fair for 1 day. The parking was free for the show and free shuttles run to and from the halls. I couldn't get on the wifi but I had 3G on my phone so I managed ok. Food and drink is massively over priced in the fair. I would definitely recommend bringing food or... More

Attended the Spring Fair trade show in February and the show as a whole was a run of the mill trade show - nothing good or bad just work. The NEC is convenient but after that I feel its downhill. In place the food and drink is extortionate Egg sandwich at £5.50 is disgraceful. When at the NEC working at... More

As usual it is the place to be for these events, central and business like, but not a lot of shops open?

The first you find when you get there is that it's £12 to park, regardless of how long you stay. Dozens of people in high vis jackets directing you (are the sheer numbers really necessary??). Once inside, food and drink is also priced at twice normal prices, it's more expensive than an airport. Been told since that if you wait... More

I visit the NEC every year for the Horse of the Year Show each October. A show that is the ultimate one for all equestrians in the world of showjumping and showing of their horses. The atmosphere is electric and very atmospheric, Restaurants, toilets, cloakrooms and seating are plentiful and all easily accessible. The layout of the shopping malls is perfect... More

The NEC is purpose built for Trade Fairs and concerts, situated between Birmingham and Coventry. Good access if you drive there, or go by train. Plenty of parking. But, it's just a really cold venue for atmosphere, and really only good for the purposes of work or concerts.

No signs as you enter the building to tell you where to head for. Lots of helpful staff to direct you though. Attended a conference here. Sound systems were excellent. Catering provided was good. A good conference venue.

We exhibit here every couple of years and its the only venue in the entire country that is equipped to handle the type of business we are in and of course its also by far the largest. You can't knock the amenities of the services that are available here but it comes at a price - a very very high... More
