I find this a lovely day out, parking can be a nightmare. Even in disabled area you still have to walk far to get in the front doors. There are not enough seating areas for disabled prople to be able to watch the rings or shows.

Let's be honest you only go to the events not the place. The place is a rip off, excessive car parking charges, very poor banking facilities, smelly toilets, stupid prices for food. If you're working there the bars close almost as soon as you leave work. I seriously believe if there was a viable alternative then exhibitions would go somewhere... More

The nec is a huge place but is a mission to get around. The facilities in the nec are clean and tidy, well kept and well located. My only issue is the air quality, I find the air quality so poor inside it makes me feel tired and rough, I think this is something that needs looking into.

For the Festival of Quilts, Halls 7 – 9 we decided to stay just outside of the NEC and have a courtesy bus in from our hotel, which worked fine. However, when I arrived at the NEC via the train station entrance with lot of people alighting from trains, this all changed and not for the better. Most people attend... More

The NEC is so underrated. Great transport links and logistics and brilliantly organised when you get there. Never a disappointment. I've been for a range of events... Conferences, exhibitions, concerts. All have been great. The site should've been chosen for a national stadium!!

Yes, this place is humongous, you will get tired walking around here kind of humongous. But ya once you enter here, its like a different world. Has everything from restaurants to a park to a lake nearby. Monorail and bus connectivity also.

I came here with friends to see a car show. The place is amazing, it is well laid out with plenty of space for the exhibitors. Make sure you have very comfortable clothing, especially your shoes because there is lots and lots of walking!

Ladies make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes as if you are in high heels your feet will be aching with all the walking you will be doing. There are travelators though in some of the walkways
