Does what it needs to do. Great venue, central to motorways and easily accessible to airport. Food and drinks expensive captive market

I was looking forward to my first ever visit to the Clothes Show at the NEC but was disappointed to find hoards of market type stalls (similar to the cheap pop up shops in towns). I was expecting high street names and some designer brands. The make up and odds and ends were nice to look at and good prices... More

Took my teenage daughter to the clothes show, had a fantastic time, the catwalk show was excellent, lots and lots of different make up /hair stalls, I didn't think the clothes were particularly good but my daughter managed to spend a fortune on make up and clothes. Lots of different expensive venues to eat. Plenty of toilets available. Easy enough to... More

Like the previous reviewer has wrote, it is just like a cheap market. Nothing retro or trendy about it. All tat, plastic shoes, there was even a stall that looked like the clothes were made out of doilies. Nothing fashionable or cool in there. My first time there and certainly last. Celebrities I saw were Amy Childs looking sullen and... More

Visited the Clothes Show on Saturday 6th. Really enjoyed the show itself, great entertainment with dancers, singers and the models themselves. Also enjoyed other catwalk displays by Zandra Rhodes and a number of young up and coming designers in the main hall. Huge number of stalls and great variety of items on offer. Spent a small fortune. Shame Subway prices... More

We were here for the Dive show, I was impressed with the venue, but as my title states the venue is getting a bit dated. Parking is £10.00 and over the years I've just accepted it, the food was particularly good from the independents this year!

We go on a girly trip with friends every year to the Clothes Show Live around the beginning of December. On the downside the clothes are not great with no real big names like there used to be and it was better years ago, however.. On the plus side, it's a cracking girly day out with a fabulous professional catwalk... More

Visited nec as good food show event was on. NEC was clean, tidy in communal areas and baby change facilities were also clean and tidy.

The show was amazing, including all the special effects and sound quality. Obviously the NEC is a large venue involving many thousands of visitors. I appreciate that this involves a lot of organisation and crowd control, but a note to the staff involved with this; try not to scream through a megaphone into someones ear as they walk past....not a... We went to the LG Area on Friday 5th December 2014 to see War of the Worlds. We have only been to the NEC on two other occasions in our lifetime as the last car parking fiasco kept us away for about 10 years. Nothing had changed - all cars funnelled out of one entrance, parking tickets collected from each... More
