We attended the Baby show 2015 here this year. Having been here twice before for the baby show and twice for conferences, we knew what to expect, i.e. long walks to get anywhere so we did a bit of research on the parking and found that we could park the whole day at Birmingham International train station for £5 instead... What a great place for conferences. Lots of parking but expensive. Long walk to halls. Only Starbucks so que for, coffee is huge in the morning, there is a Weatherspoons that opens at 8.30 and has more seats inside. May be worth the wait, Conference facilites good. Toilet ques bad. Exhibition hall was very well set out.

Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful.variety of food areas was good. Security and management of event for the three days were very helpful and did a great job with the large crowds. Facilities like the toilets etc were clean regularly.

Great venue for shows. Parking a bit of a liberty at £12 a day when we were there (there are places in London that are cheaper)!

Great location, parking easy, travel to and from parking is regular, plenty of cafes/shops/bars. The expo is the best show I have been too, loved it.

Second visit to the NEC for Bodypower. Decent exhibition centre, easy to get to and from by train, with trains leaving about every ten minutes from Birmingham New Street Station (about ten minute journey time). The Bodypower fitness exhibition is every May loads of experts giving talks, large trade fair, along with loads of athletes to meet. I go for... More

Found a b and b 1.6 miles away very nice "the white house quality b&b" taxi was £7 to nec. The kids went in and we went for drink. Bit disappointed... More

We have just been exhibiting at the Forecourt Show for 3 days and there is no doubt that a geographically central location attracts more visitors than London. The fast train services to the International station, proximity to motorways and choice of hotels make this a very good venue. But the operators do charge. One firm of pump manufacturers estimated that... More

Delayed review, sorry... Visited the NEC with my partner for our first Gadget Show Live. Great venue! Clean , spacious, good amenities & majority of the staff were friendly & helpful. The monorail ride from Birmingham airport was very quick but the walk from the departure point (railway station) to the gate was considerably longer but not a problem as... More

The show just moved from London Olympia and while Birmingham is less convenient for us it does give us a great excuse for a long weekend away. The show has improved by being at a more central venue, there is no denying the NEC is much easier to get to by air, train or road than Olympia was. The format... More
