This is an excellent days entertainment. We first went to HOYS when it was at Wembley. We are now regular visitors at The NEC Birmingham,, which far surpasses it's predecessor. There is great competition, top end Horses and riders, great places to eat ( but expensive), and a great shopping village with a huge selection of stalls.

Visited the NEC for the Festival of Quilts which was fantastic -so much to see (and buy). Would recommend this show to any quilter or textile artist, and the venue has good train and car links, easy to get to.

Access to the NEC for the Spring Fair was quite good. I took the train from a station near my hotel (which was a short walk away). The station was very close to the NEC, so a brief walk. The facility was larger than expected and well organized. The food available in the cafeteria was fine.

Spent two days at NEC Birmingham with over 300 stands of fabric, quilting gizmos, fabulous quilts of all sizes. Need a lot of stamina. Lots of bargains, but you need to shop around as well. Arrived home with a healthy supply of fabric to add to the stash. Unfortunately, on the first day I did a mini workshop on the... More

Well managed despite the number of people. Did not dislike anything. Often there is a problem with waiting for food and long waits for the loos. In our experience their visitors are well catered for.

We went here with our girls in November for the bike show and it was fantastic. Lovely spacious place with plenty going on. The site was easy to use and book tickets. The staff on the gates were very friendly and helpful. There is even points to charge your phone, which is always a bonus after taking so many pics.... More

Love this exhibition space, lots of things going on all the time , easy to get too. The train literally stoppes beside the complex, A word of advise , if you travel to and from by train , make sure you book a seat with your ticket, Takes out the hassle to get a seat. Looking forward to go again... More

I was surprised at first with the sheer size of the exhibition centre. There are multiple car parks but a bus service to take you to the front door and it's free. The event was very well planned out except the entrance for paying. There were only 4/5 cashiers but the table with pens and registration forms was at the... More
