Loved the sculptures around the lake. Really came to see the Henry moore and Rodin exhibition. Lovely chatty guides. Great grounds to stroll around.

I visit here often, and I love it a bit more every time. Easily reached from the M40 motorway, yet surrounded by bucolic countryside, this little stately home houses an amazing art collection. The grounds are magnificent (and currently host to a wonderful collection of Moore and Rodin Sculptures. There is plenty to keep children occupied, indoors and out! Choice... More

We recently visited this facility and were really stimulated by the exhibits based on Rodin and Moore. The grounds are beautiful and the setting for a picnic on the lawn is second to none.

The restoration and development of Compton Verney was funded by the profits from Littlewoods Football Pools, the former business of the Moores family. Sir Peter Moores, younger son of the founder is an art and opera connoiseur and very active philanthropist. He has given millions to the development of opera and has also restored this 18th century mansion in the... More

Two of us visited yesterday. We were frustrated by the 'do not touch' signs (understandable though) since many of the Moore sculptures invited touch. The contrast between the sculptures and the architecture was wonderful. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The display of Rodin and Moore's sketch books was a wonderful use of technology but better contrast would aid... More

Art galleries are not really my thing but this is place is a bit different. It's a country mansion ad grounds that also happens to be an art gallery. The grounds are full of interesting things for the kids to do including a very good play area, there are walks with lots of interesting art to see and then in... More

We come here every year as the exhibitions are so well planned, and the general atmosphere is so good. This years Moore/Rodin exhibition is possibly the best yet. Car parking and greeting as efficient as ever. The restaurant lunch was delicious, and very reasonably priced, with charming waitress. Will definitely be back next year.

A wonderful place, lots to see, exhibitions, gardens, galleries. Well laid out and very interesting. however the prices were London levels - so if you go - be prepared to feel a very hefty hit in your wallet. If I had looked on the web site beforehand would not have gone - we live and learn.
