We go racing a lot and, with regret, I have to say Stratford is one of the lesser courses we visit. I suppose this is about value for money and at £16 for Tatts (£1.60 cheaper if bought in advance) the facilities are poor. We arrived just before the first race and wanted something to eat but the selection was... More

Not completely sure that a few reviewers haven't been a bit harsh on this race course. It is not and, to be fair, does not try to be, a major racecourse. I believe it is a fun day out at a low grade course trying very hard to be as good as it can. Admission is very good; you can... More

The Racecourse is a great site for campers/caravaners that enjoy space especially those with dogs, there is a lovely walk into Stratford that takes maybe 15-20 mins takes you into the park at the Marina. Also a lovely 10 min walk to a pub near Anne Hathaway's Cottage that has a lovely beer garden. Facilities are basic but didn't really... More

This is a small racecourse with no grandstand. There are just a few steps in Tattersalls to raise a dew people above the bookies and absolutely nowhere to sit. If its a nice day it would be possible to take a picnic and some chairs to sit on but there is nowhere to shelter if it rains. Either way the... More

Novices to racing but visited on a trip to Stratford upon Avon. The parade ring is just next to the finish line and a tattershall ticket gets you access to this area. You have to buy the next ticket up to get access to a stand and there is no seating at all in the tattersall area. Burger van and... More

A nice day out even if you don't want to bet. Went here for a family birthday. We had a hospitality box with a buffet and bar. Lady serving the drinks was pleasant and helpful. View from box was okay, good view of the horses and the big screen. Easy to walk to and from the area of placing your... More

Afternoon at races, paid normal grandstand entrance fee £16, no value for money, basic facilities and overall poor view, was a big screen but I go to watch live not a tv. You can pay more £20 and get better facilities, in which case the price differential is wrong only £4 difference. If you are going for hospitality that looks... More

The positive thing about using the Racecourse caravanning facilitates is its location, an easy walk into centre of Stratford and the Theatre. Great walks in the immediate area, and it is dog friendly. The facilities however are poor not good loos or showers. I have no idea why they don't upgrade them to fit the area to be honest, but...
