My wife and I took our two pre school age boys, we were not disappointed. As it was December we were maybe a little overdressed for the tropical heat inside. The amount of butterflies flapping around was staggering. the free range birds & iguanas along with the giant koi & creepy crawly Exhibits made it most memorable day out.

This is a lovely place to go, quite small but fascinating. Reasonably priced and has a lovely gift shop.

Visited the butterfly farm today and had a fantastic time. Took my camera and got numerous great pics. The variety of butterflies was amazing and the sheer number mean you need eyes in the back of your head.

I took my 2 year old nephew here on Saturday and on the whole I felt that the Butterfly Farm is really quite dated, I don't think it has changed since I was at primary school myself (I'm 30 now!) We enjoyed seeing the butterflies, but there is a very limited amount for the children to see and to keep... More

We had an amazing time and would definitely come back again. There are many different types of Butterflies (as well as huge fish in the pond) and we had the chance to feed them.

Attended an externally organised photography workshop. Whilst the butterfly farm isn't massive there are so many butterflies - and other animals - to see that it really is easy to spend hours there (if you can cope with the heat/humidity). Was particularly happy to see one of my favourite butterflies - the glasswing - nature is truly amazing. Great variety... More

The staff aren't very helpful but this can be overlooked if you enjoy butterflies. It's small so will only take around an hour or so but they have some spiders, lizards and insects to look at too. There is a variety of butterflies so lots of colours and types to show the kids :-) Note for little kids: the butterflies... More

My husband and I were in Stratford upon Avon for our wedding anniversary and decided to go to the butterfly farm before we headed home. I'm so glad that we did. What an interesting experience! I for one don't see butterfly's every day so this was a real treat. I don't see the cost a problem because it's not an... More
