I never realised there were so many different coloured butterflies in existence until you visit this place. When you first arrive you are told it is quite warm inside......that is an understatement, it is very warm & humid for obvious reasons. There are hundreds of butterflies flying about, you have to watch your step as they land on the floor... More

We visited the butterfly house because our daughter is into butterflies at the minute after they were get term topic, however we won't be going again even if she studies them at university! The place was dated, staff not interested, and dead bugs everywhere. A little effort, a good clean and a little investment this place may be good. Daughter... More

We used Tesco vouchers which was a good thing as it is a little over priced for the amount of time you would want to spend in there. The butterflies are beautiful but it was a shame to see a few with damaged wings where they had obviously been grabbed and mishandled. They really need to have a few staff... More

Spent a good couple of hours here, originally to escape the rain. So many beautiful butterflies, the caterpillar room, we got to see lots of moths and butterflies emerging from their cocoons and chrysalis. Not so keen on the spider room however past that there was a lovely chameleon. When the sun came out the butterflies were everywhere, so beautiful.

Visited this farm today. Perfect in all weathers as inside but glad the lady recommended using their cloakroom as it was hot! Beautiful butterflies and plenty of opportunities to take photographs. My 6 year old son loves animals and we spent about 90 minutes here. Quite expensive but the ticket allows you to return as many times as you like... More

Took three of our grandchildren here and pleased that we used our Tesco Vouchers as expensive to get in. Very pretty seeing all the butterflies, but very very hot, the children kept wanting to go in and out which you can do. Shame they saw dead butterflies on the ground, maybe a member of staff could go round a few... More

What a treasure, we all loved it, amazing ranges of butterflies, arachnids and insects. The butterfly area is beautifully laid out, like being in a tropical garden, the butterflies are plentiful and varied and the birds and lizards an extra bonus. There is a big public car park right next door and we thought the entrance price was very reasonable... More

Came here with my partner as he is really interested in this kind of stuff and wanted to take me. We got there and paid to go in. Lots of butterflies and quails. Went through the caterpillar bit which was interesting and watched the man take all the new butterflies out the cupboard and put them on the wall. Negative... More

Visited with a toddler, he found it interesting especially the lizards! When busy during school holidays it is a little difficult to walk through the butterfly area. Loved the insect area. Probably could do with more tills at which to pay, had to queue for a while with a 19 month old! Would recommend.
