My son had visited the Butterfly Farm a few weeks earlier with his grandparents and my daughter, on hearing this, was deperate to go. It is a lovely setting and the range of butterflies is outstanding. If you looked closely enough there were catapillars on the leaves and small exotic birds chirping. The butterfly farm wasn't on my list of places to visit over the weekend but I'm so pleased I did. It was a fabulous experience. The butterflies are plentiful and beautiful with amazing colours and patterns. They flutter around you and you can get up close and see them in all their glory. I live near Stratford and so have visited a lot however haven't done many of the touristy things that perhaps I should so yesterday me and my partner visited the Butterfly Farm. Admission is £5.75 per adult and the ticket is valid all day and so you can leave and revisit as many times as you want which is handy... more

Brilliant place. Really interesting even if you're not into butterflies. They accept clubcard vouchers too. It's a hothouse so don't wear jumpers, I went in with flipflops in December!! more

Me, a friend and her 4 yr old neice went to the Butterfly Farm on 28th May 2008 because it was raining and it's indoors. It is a fabulous place to go for children and adults. If you're heading to Stratford and are feeling a little nippy, go to the butterfly farm. It's a tropical butterfly house with free flying butterflies and a few parrots and there are a couple of iguanas hiding in the bushes too if you can find them! I spent an enjoyable afternoon last month at the Stratford Butterfly Farm. If you are feeling "Shakespeared-out," this is a great alternative attraction in Stratford. It's very warm and humid inside. Probably great if it's raining out. The Butterfly Farm was a great day out. We took our 6 year old Daughter along, but really it suits anyone from 0-101 years of age !!!There are HUGE Butterflies floating about, (careful not to stand on them !!), and you can see them in close up detail.
