Lovely experience loads of different butterflies who will land on you if you stay still. Just be careful where you step as some land on the floor and get stood on

We had a few hours spare before catching an afternoon train, the children enjoyed seeing all the amazing butterflies fly around and land so close to you. This is definitely just for a brief visit not an all day activity. Disappointed with the insects and spiders not alot to see and it did seem that they could do with a... More

We visited the Butterfly Farm a few years ago and really enjoyed it, so much we decided to go back. We were very disappointed, the place is now shabby, the pond in the outside area is stagnant water. Inside there were dead butterflies, which was sad to see and in the insect section there were some dead insects rotting. The... More

Had a day to spend in Stratford and didn't fancy paying £100 for our party to visit the Shakespeare attractions... had the butterfly farm recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel! We were pleasantly surprised by the experience and the value for money. Never been to anything like it before and we were genuinely surprised!

We visited the butterfly farm with three kids of different ages. They all enjoyed the encounter with the so many different types of butterflies very much. It was a rainy day, so we were happy to have been able to keep them busy indoors.

It was fabulous to see the butterflies resting on children's outstretched hands. Tiny quail chicks scurried about, looking as if they should have been adorning an Easter bonnet. A magical place with a car park right next door. Do go!

Me and my best friend came to Stratford for the day and our main reason was for the butterfly farm. The entrance is beautiful the way it's all layed out, then you enter through the shop entrance and I was so much more than I expected! 100's of butterflies in the most beautiful surroundings. All the different colours of butterflies... More

The surroundings are rather shabby, even considering some rotting vegetation is needed. However, the butterflies themselves are quite beautiful and there are many opportunities to stand and admire them. The small area where the butterflies are emerging from chrysalis was fascinating. We bought a 40p identification chart at the entrance which was not particularly helpful. More information inside would have... More

This family-friendly place is a good way to introduce children to some wildlife, namely the butterflies. An injured iguana blocked the doorway and only moved when a toddler screamed. Overall, it was a fun experience to see children interact with the butterflies.

Was pleasantly surprised at our recent visit to discover there were more things to see than butterflies. Lovely plantation to follow paths through the grounds, plenty of different species of butterflies to look out for & try & catch, great little pond with coy carp & reptile house (although this part does need an upgrade). Spent longer in there tjan... More
