No trip to Stratford would be complete without a visit to the Dirty Duck. The food is fantastic, portions size is great and the variety on the menu is refreshing. The staff are friendly even when they are busy. Can't wait for my next trip so that I can try another one of the shared platters more
I have just had possibly one of the worst dining experiences that I have ever had. I didn't eat at the Dirty Duck, so I can't offer anything about the food there, but the barman is quick and courteous and the prices weren't outrageous for a drink. First I should explain that there was nothing wrong with the food; it was served in a timely fashion once we were able to order and was filling and plentiful. Ate at the 'Dirty Duck' early Jan 2007 as part of a group prior to seeing a production at the RST. The menu was varied, quality of the food was excellent, promptly served and well priced. What more could one ask for?! Location, just along the road from the theatre, is superb - making it the perfect venue for eating... more
