What a great facility.....great for walking, jogging, cycling. Can walk for 10 miles with dog off lead albeit for a short while to cross a 'b' road. Lovely views and perfect as level with no gradients.

Part of our route from Warwick to Morton-in-the-Marsh, the Greenway is a good quality cycle path which is well maintained. The Carriages Cafe was a welcome break along the way, especially given the terrible weather. We met some lovely people at the cafe, including other cyclists and a family with small children. If I lived in the area I would... More

As a family with two young children (ages 6 and 8) we all enjoyed this cycle ride along a disused railway line. Its a flat and easy going 5 mile ride into Stratford from Long Marston village. If you turn into Station Road either just before or just after the church (depending on which way you come into Long Marston)... More

Lovely, quiet, traffic-free cycling route. We hired bikes from the old train carriage at the start of the Greenway - available for whole or half day. Had a lovely day cycling through beautiful countryside about 12 miles there and back. My 11 and 13 year old said it was their favourite day. The perfect antidote to tourists and Tudor buildings!

Goes on in a straight line for miles, lots of families, joggers, cyclists, dog walkers etc but never too crowded. Lovely views and a nice cafe where you can also hire bikes.

A good place for an off road cycle ride, and rather boring as a walk, after the first mile. There is a railway carriage cafe at the start of the Greenway, and a Bike Hire shop. There is another carriage cafe half way (at Milcote), which is open at the weekend: both are good for a drink and snack. From... More

Superb traffic free trail making cycling and walking easy. Pretty much right into Stratford, but a little bit on road early on if you have your kids on bikes. A few quiet road crossings. Refreshments in a railway carriage about 3 miles out of Stratford. Crosses River Avon Trail in places which gives options if you're on foot. We did... More

A lovely stroll through the Stratford countryside with plenty of parking and facilities. There are two areas where food and drinks are available. Lovely views and places to take a rest ! Would have been 5 stars except for some of the inconsiderate dog owners not collecting their waste.
