Swayed by the more recent reviews we tried the Falstaff experience but were very disappointed. As it was raining we stretched the visit out as much as we could but even then it only took just over half an hour. there were no costumed characters and much looked a bit tired. We had paid for a 'Ghost walk' in the... more

December 2008. We found the Falstaffs Experience tucked away in Sheep Street, Stratford-Upon-Avon. How it goes unnoticed is a surpise as it is a huge 16th century barn along the cobblestones of an Elizabethan House. You realy feel as if just had just stepped back in time. The museum tells the history of stratford in an entertaining and spooky way... more

If you are interested in History you will find this little exhibition fascinating- I could hardly tear myself away. There are reams of things to look at and to read in each display room full of interesting facts about the beliefs and susperstitions of 16th century. There is information about illness and cures , witchcraft , punishment and torture -... more

My husband and I went on a ghost hunt here. I have never been so scared in my life. We have been in a number of haunted houses and done ghost tours before but nothing compares to this. I can't explain it, you have to experience it for yourself. Even though it was so scary it was exhilarating as you... more

This attraction is heavily promoted in Stratford but has to be one of the worst we have been to in England. We can only agree with previous reports about the Falstaff Experience; the description of it as a waste of money,£5.00 each for adults now, is very accurate. Also it really does take only 10 minutes to travel through the centuries! You enter... more

June 2004. £8.50 for two of us. Luckily we didn't waste another £1.50 on the book. A woman in costume welcomed us in by telling us about the delights we could encounter. Stratford through the ages told by theatrical displays and smells and sounds of the times. Apparently it started off scary and then the mood lightens, ending with a... more

Absolutely the most pathetic tourist attraction that I've been to - in and out in less than 15 minutes. It tries to emulate the Madame Tussaud exhibitions, illustrating historical scenes using life-size wax figures or mannequins but fails miserably. The attraction looks like it hasn't been updated for about 20 years. There's fake spider moss everywhere, regardless whether it is... more
