Excellent to cruise along, or even row if you have the energy, really peaceful and relaxing. It takes right through the centre of the town.

The canal is well worth a visit. We went in the winter after flooding. It was just glorious. It was lovely to see all the swans gliding along and get some fresh air and relaxation after walking around Stratford.

Lovely walk along a tree lined route with Canal Boats and Dog walkers for company. The car park was close and convenient and gave us easy access to the town centre

There are many walks along this canal which goes from Stratford to Birmingham and about half way along joins the Grand Union Canal at Lapworth. In the summer one can watch the narrow boats and the wildlife.

My wife and I visited Stratford-upon-Avon Canal during a 10-day bus tour. I am so glad we stopped here! The sites are magnificent and the history and grandeur cannot be topped. While London is much more exciting please come by here and walk hand-in-hand with someone special - you won't regret it!
