We had a lovely cruise on one of the Bancroft canal boats at Stratford Upon Avon. It is 50p more expensive than a rival company but well worth it. The boat was heated, modern and well equipped. We visited out of season and were the only two guests on the cruise which turned out to the last of the day. A very short cruise where you only see some fairly modern houses on the banks of the Avon and the inside of a canal lock for your 45 minutes! Despite the attempts of the tour guide to amuse us, we were not too taken with the experience. Overpriced for what you got.

Thank you for putting on such a fabulous office Christmas party for us all at Cognition. We highly enjoyed our time sailing along the river Avon, tucking into the delicious and beautifully assembled canapés and enjoying the wide array of drinks on offer. A most enjoyable 45 min trip with amusing anecdotes. Time really flew. Drinks are available adding to the enjoyment. Recommend it strongly.

This was a lovely end to our trip to Stratford. The guide Andy was fab, full of comedy, wit and good information. All though its not a long trip, he managed to pack lots in and give you several things to think about where the bard Shakespeare was concerned...Great value for money and something the kids will love......
