I actually went to all five of the houses which is the best way to do it. You need to start with the three in town first because it is quite a walk to Anne's cottage and the last one is a drive away to the farm. The houses and gardens are well maintained and the staff are very helpful... More

For those who really love history and Shakespeare, then this is house worth a visit, it is interesting and I imagine the gardens are lovely in spring and summer. Considering all you are given is an info sheet, the price is high when compared to other historic sites in Britain.

This wonderful historic attraction is beautifully maintained. Staff are friendly and the volunteer guides in the entrance to the house are very knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are stunning, even in winter. There is also a fab gift shop on the way out. Highly recommended.

I've longed to visit since a child, the gardens are lovely and the cottage is typical of its time, however the history turns out to be its as likely to be my great grandmother's furniture as anything to do with Ann Hathaway. The tour took a very little time and cost a lot of money.

We visited Anne Hathaway's Cottage on 16th January and were made very welcome by the staff as they didn't have many visitors. We had a very interesting chat with the 2 Guides about spirits in the old building. But it is a tiny house and we weren't there long. We felt that the £19.80 entrance fee for 2 people was... More

It was lovely to see the house preserved as close to, the staff were all lovely and helpful and great with there knowledge ,i just thought it was a bit expensive for a quick tour and once you have been well I wouldn't go back again, I don't think the place is suitable for small children

Excellent room guide who told us lots of information about the cottage. New tea rooms over the road with friendly service.

Spent a weekend in Stratford to celebrate my birthday and my love for Shakespeare. Purchased a Multi house ticket with a 50% discount voucher from our B&B which for £23 for the two of us to visit 5 houses was a bargain, especially as you can use the tickets as many times as you like within 12 months. First house... More

Really a beautiful place! The guides inside the house were extremely informative and the character of the era really shined through! I love the entire thing! It was rather quick, however, and other then the house and wandering around the garden there is not much to do at this location! Very beautiful, make sure to bring your camera!
