Very pretty thatched cottage. Lovely gardens. Not cheap but we thought it was worth it. People on hand for advice.

Beautiful Cottage to visit. Small unimpressive home to walk through, But those Gardens are beautiful to walk through. So many different kinds and colors to see and smell. Of course there is a gift shop and a cafe. Very pretty.

A bit overpriced but a good way to learn about how people used to live. Beautiful gardens (complete with apple orchard) and some interesting artifacts. The café (recently opened I believe) is perfect for a cuppa and a slice of cake after!

Very interesting house - a glimpse into how folks with some money lived. The gardens are beautiful and provide a great place to sit and relax, in the shade even, after strolling through town.

Just a little gem: perfect with a stunning garden. Well worth a visit. Not a huge amount to see but combined it with the hopo on hop off bus tour and well worth it

The first room guide could take brevity lessons from the Ancient Mariner. It's not like us not to hear guides out, but as the subject matter strayed ever further from the Cottage we escaped and completed the tour just as our original group was being released. An interesting cottage with a long and validated Hathaway family history, surrounded by really... More

Excellent - a real insight to what it was like to live in Shakespeare's time. Would not like to live like that now!

As with other venues run by the Shakespeare birthplace trust, this is a haven of peace quiet and history with a fantastic cafe. The gardens are beautiful. But don't go behind a coach party!

Very much enjoyed our visit. The house is nicely laid out and the guides very informative and friendly. The gardens are just beautiful - someone must work very hard to achieve such amazing results. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice cottage and gardens. We also visited Shakespeare's Birthplace and found both these places lacking in information surrounding their respective histories. The garden was the best bit.
