We purchased a combined City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off bus ride + any 3 Shakespeare Houses & Gardens tickets + a river boat ride. Excellent value for money and a very interesting day out. The tickets last for 24 hours so we were able to make our last visit to Shakespears birth place early the following morning. All the... More

A beautifully preserved building and gardens. The guide was very well informed and provided loads of information about the house and what is known about Anne Hathaway.

this cottage is very well maintained, with a lots of furnitures reflecting shakespeare and his contemporaries way of life. the gardens are very nice, with the orchard and all the flowers. people say shakespeare poetry in the garden, putting yourself in the good mood for visiting.

There's nothing to dislike about this place. I was there in January 2014, yes it was wet and cold but the friendly stuff make you feel warm. It's defiantly going to be on my list of places to see again when I go back.

We took this tour as part of the five sights ticket which was very good value. This is all that England' s heritage and history is all about.

this is the second time we have been , the cost to get in was far to much for what you get , the gardens looked to be un-kept every thing looked over grown and not as good as the year before

The flower gardens were very beautiful but the lavender "maze" was a bit disappointing but the interesting live arch more than made up for it. The cottage was very nice and they had interesting information about their marriage that I had not known before or really understood, like the significance of leaving my second best bed. Definitely worth a visit... More

We loved this cottage. The garden is lovely. Very good guide who delivered an informative talk. Across the road from the cottage is a tea room, it is a must. Very friendly staff served a great cup of tea, excellent toast and home made toffee cake.
