The best of the five properties that we visited as part of the five-house ticket you can get from the Shakespeare experience centre. Beautiful gardens and really helpful and knowledgeable staff throughout. A positive and rewarding experience in a lovely setting. make sure you go in the morning before the tour buses turn up!

On a slightly rainy day we walked through the gardens with so much to see. Docents acted like past history of the times. We watched them make lunch for the other docents, and owl doing it's little "stubborn" bit and a delightful lunch.

We visited Anne Hathaway's Cottage and Gardens quite late in the day and wondered whether we'd have enough time with just 40 mins to go before they closed for the day. However, we managed to do the tour with time to spare! The cost (at June 2015) was £9.50, which gives you a ticket that is valid for 12 months... More

Loved this tour. Very beautiful gardens here. The home was very interesting to tour as well. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgable about the property and it's history.

We enjoyed the walk around the gardens and found the property beautiful. It was our first spot on the 5 house tour. It was very busy with large groups, and I would recommend going earlier in the day.

Outside of Stratford so you need transport. It has large gardens to visit and the house is picturesque and interesting. Definitely worth visiting if you are interested in Shakespeare.

A lovely cottage with friendly knowledgeable staff, and wonderful grounds and statues loved by all my family young amd old. There was a family craftvtent but if you'd like it check times as it was closed when we were there. Lots of lovely shady seats and garden areaa, and fun Shakespeare quotes dotted around.

Its about 10 mins from the birthplace of Shakespeare, and on a main street. it can be missed out and so a map will help here. Nothing special here but still worth a look. its part of the initial entrance fees.

Very well kept cottage and gardens and well worth a visit. Our advice would be to buy the £19.50 ticket for all attractions and save a few quid ;)
