Lovely cottage, really good to see how they used to live back in the day. Very helpful staff on hand to answer questions and lovely gardens.

This cottage could not be in a more beautiful place. Down the road in shot trey there are other quaint thatched cottages. The lavender strewn pathways are beautiful in the summer heat and the gardens are fabulous. This visit provides a memorable experience of the most quintessential English heritage site. Americans must love it. Only thing is you need a... More

Anne Hatherway's cottage is really a chocolate box cottage. It is beautifully kept and the grounds are a delight to walk round. It is suitable for old and young alike. The children loved running around the grounds and in the wood.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to go inside, however, it was still lovely to visit. You can still see the outside of the house & there are some nice gardens around to walk through. It's good even for a quick photo stop. There was also ample parking available.

I visited here with some friends on a girls' weekend. Wasn't terribly enthusiastic about going but really enjoyed the whole thing. Beautiful, interesting and very enjoyable.

Absolutley charming! I have always been fascinated with the medieval lifestyle and this house gives you a glimpse of what it was like to live in the medieval times. Definitely learned a lot! Loved our visit here last year and would gladly return the next time we visit. The gift shop had a nice collection of things. Bought myself a... More

If you're going to go to Stratford on Avon you have to visit this cottage . That's nearly all I need to say , has a real feel of that time . I went years ago but can't put that date in as drop down thing doesn't go back before 2013 !

Lovely rose gardens surround a quite large, thatched cottage. It surprised me that it was quite large. A light rain started as we headed to the gardens, so we just took a few snaps and headed toward Stratford-upon-Avon to Shakespeare's birthplace.
