The cottage is so romantic and the garden really nice. We spend a few hours at the cottage. We have never been to a place with such a small number of tourists - and that is a plus when you take pictures. You can walk to the cottage from town centre in less than 30 minutes.

Anne Hathaway's Cottage is absolutely beautiful, so old, well kept and glorious gardens. However we went to the cafe across the road and it was terrible. Beautiful setting and gardens also. We paid 10.95 English pounds for a high tea and were hugely disappointed. Had quite a few traditional English high teas and this was not good at all. Just... More

Used the " Hop on Hop off " Red Bus to get there, but so well worth the visit. Just so long as you time it to avoid the coach "rush" it is an oasis of beautiful tranquility. The in-house guide was exceptionally good. Beautiful English garden and lovely walks around the grounds. Must stress though, it probably can be... More

Lovely historic house, even if you have no interest in Shakespeare this is simply an excellent example of a Tudor farm. Guides were friendly and informative. Gardens were excellent, full of colour and with interesting living willow. Woodland walk and sculpture trail were peaceful and charming.

Visited as part of a coach tour around Stratford upon Avon with a local guide called David Gunnell. His knowledge of the history of the area was fantastic and he brought the sights to light. He was also able to quote Shakespeare. The cottage was very beautiful and well maintained but I thought that the admission charge was a little... More

I found this to be good value for the house and garden tour. There were activities that children could partake in, so all ages were catered for. The lady that did the house tour was very good at her job and actually gave us many facts along the way about where some of our most common sayings have come from.... More
