I would encourage anyone who is visiting Stratford,to go on the guided walk that meets at the swan fountain.the guide was Helen she made the walk very interesting. Helen's knowledge of Shakespeare was second to none.she made him come alive when she spoke about his life. Helen was a very friendly person as well.

I had the real pleasure of being guided around Stratford by David yesterday. His manner is engaging, fun, friendly and warm. His face positively shines with enthusiasm and passion whilst discussing Stratford and, of course, the great Bard. David was both knowledgeable and willing to learn from his guests. He created a wonderful rapport with us and really engaged with... More

Brilliant way to spend 2 hours in Stratford, and incredible value for money (£5 for 2 hours!) Our tour guide, David, was really friendly, knew the answer to every question we threw at him, and told me a lot that I didn't already know about the Bard. He catered to everyone's interests, which wasn't an easy feat with two Shakespeare... More

David was our superb guide. He was engaging and very informative. A great talker with a history background. We liked his manner and we were sorry when it all came to an end. It was two and a half hours of fact and snippets, as expected centred around Shakespeare and his life. This combined with 3 nightly plays at RSC... More

Our guide David was such a funny, knowledgeable and engaging man, we had a blast. It only costs £6 and is well worth it. It goes around the town and highlights a lot of historical and architectural points, as well as details about Shakespeare's life in relation to the town. There's also a bonus on this tour as they give... More

We did the Ghost Tour on Friday with our tour guide the "undertaker" and it was really, really good and well worth the money. The tour added a new dimension to Stratford.

Enjoyed this walking tour today with my partner. We admittedly are not Shakespeare fans however our tour guide David was very knowledgeable, witty and engaging. I was thoroughly impressed by his sense of humour and candid account of Shakespearean folklore and history. The tour was well thought out and very reasonably priced. We recommend doing the tour first to get... More

Today we took the town walk with Barbara as our guide,a wonderful 2 hours. It was fun , and we learnt a lot too. Not only did we have a history lesson but lots of good recommendations too. The walk was filled with laughter, thank you Barbara for a lovely morning.

A two hour walk in the freezing cold doesn't sound ideal, but it was brilliant. Tour guide John brought Shakespeare to life for all the family. We visited Shakespeare's family homes, heard about his school and I came away with a wealth of information I would never have known. John kept the interest of all the group and made it... More
