Had Barbara as a guide and she was great! Very informative and friendly! She knew lots about the city and even told us a great place to have a coffee or tea, and what we should visit afterwards.

My OH and I completed the walking tour today and had a thoroughly brilliant time! Barbara (the tour guide) is perhaps one of the nicest ladies you could ever meet and no matter what questions were thrown at her, she always knew the answers in detail! Apart from learning a great deal about the town, buildings and history, Barbara kept... More

I've lived in the Stratford area for almost ten years and though I know quite a bit about it, my friend and I decided to do the Town Walk. Barbara our guide was fabulous... welcoming, helpful and full of interesting information. The walk lasted about two hours and we 'did' Stratford. The Shakespeare Houses (from the outside, though there is... More

We visited Stratford on Avon for a day whilst staying in Cirencester and decided on a walking tour as the best and quickest way of learning something of the history of the town, and of course William Shakespeare. We were not disappointed.....our tour party of just six had John as our guide. The tour lasted over two hours and we... More

We had the pleasure of Helen as our tour guide on Saturday 15th November. What a treat!!! Very interesting , informative and above all entertaining. The tour is suitable for all ages. There were 2 children on our tour and also a lady of 92 years so don't be put off by the "walking " as it isn't too far... More

While staying in Birmingham I thought I would take the train to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a visit since I was so close. I suspected that I would arrive and curse our dear ‘Bard of Avon’, Shakespeare, as he was the bane on my existence in my high school English and Writing classes back in the day! Kudos to the leader of... More

I can't recommend this walk to you highly enough, and only found out about it by accident myself. Vincent was our tour guide and he was brilliant. We took our 12 year old daughter with us as well and she enjoyed it as much as we did. It's around a 1.5-2 hour walk around Stratford with tales of its history,... More

This walk takes around 2 hours but it is not too difficult. Barbara was our guide and she was enthusiastic and very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and she actually gave us a few good tips along the way. You definitely need to do this walk before you visit any of Shakespeare's houses as you can get a 50%... More

The walk is very informative and takes you to all the key spots in the centre of town. It provides a good amount of information about the town, Shakespeare and the RSC theatres, but doesn't overwhelm you. Our guide, Barbara, was friendly and knew her stuff inside out, with lots of interesting snippets of info on top of the straight... More
