Many thanks Barbara for such a lovely and pleasurable walk round the town. We have done a few of these in various cities and this was as good as any we have been on.

Our tour guide David brought us for an enjoyable 2 hour walk around Stratford town. It felt as if Shakespeare's life story was unfolding before us; and David's recital of Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 was indeed a fine touch to the tour! He was knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. It was definitely worth every pound and if you're interested visiting other Shakespeare... More

Helen, our guide was extremely knowledgable, well spoken and fun. A must do if visiting the area. We found that enjoying the tour during the week was probably more personal with a smaller group. We thought the weekend tours would probably be larger and the town generally noisier with more people and vehicles, which may have spoilt Helen's performance -... More

We had a delightful time listening to Helen, who led the town walk around Stratford-upon-Avon. She was very informative and her lively way kept us interested the entire 2 hours. If you want to learn more about Shakespeare, this is a great way!!

I really enjoyed this walking tour which lasted about 2 1/2 hours. It was a lovely day, the weather was fine (always a bonus), and the tour guide Wendy was knowledgable and friendly. Wendy allowed us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The tour covered a lot of territory. Stratford is such a pretty town, it was terribly busy today,... More

Went on this walking tour with Margot on Sunday. Had limited time in Stratford and were keen to see the sights on foot rather than by bus. So glad we chose this walk - it couldn't have been better. Margot was a fantastic guide and stopped at so many sites along the way, taking time to explain the history and... More

The guided walking tour passed the Shakespeare Town Houses, Royal Shakespeare Theaters, River Avon, 15th century timber-framed buildings, Shakespeare’s School, Guild Chapel and Holy Trinity Church. Shakespeare’s grave in the Chancel, a small fee of (£1 per adult), was payable to the Church. The fee for one guide with up to 25 people was £105 the guide was very knowledgeable... More

After a very late night (and a bit of a hangover after celebrating our Sister in law's 50th birthday) I wasn't really looking forward to the town tour but...wow.....it was the most interesting and enjoyable tour of anything or anywhere we have been on. Wendy's knowledge was matched only by her great personality. We learned a lot, not just about... More

Very instructive and quite fun ! Our tour guide Barbara was very friendly and shared many anecdotes as she seemed very knowledgeable about the town and its history. Costs £6, worth every penny. Would recommend to do the tour on your first day visiting Stratford, because they tell you which places are good to visit and they give you vouchers... More

This was an amazing experience made entertaining by the lovely and talented vincent, we went on the tour on Shakespeares birthday, meaning it was a little cold but totally worth it! Starting at the fountain next to the river this informative and historical tour highlights the darker side of Stratford and is a great and worthwhile experience for anyone interested... More
