I was so looking forward to this, as I do like my walking tours. It was mine and my partners anniversary so we had come to Stratford for the day. You meet by the swan fountain in front of the main RSC theatre. But get there early and be prepared to stand your ground on what time you arrived as... More

We took this tour on a recent trip to Stratford as we've been numerous times and never really had an official guide. What can I say, the tour was amazing, only cost £5 each and we learned so much about the history of Stratford, the guide pointing out things we had never seen on what must be 20 visits to... More

This is a must do for anyone visiting Stratford. Our guide, Margot, was extremely knowledgeable & made the tour informative & entertaining. The discounts that are available from this tour are worth more than the cost of the walk. Don't visit any Shakespeare houses before doing this walk. Discount voucher from the tour can get 2 passes for all the... More

Barbara was hired for a private tour of Stratford which was part of a birthday surprise. She was lovely on arrival and very excited to be part of the secret. We were a group of eleven with two small children and she managed to keep the tour interesting and moving so that the children didn't get bored along the way.... More

We went on the walk today, 16th April 14, and it was really great. Helen, our guide, was very clearly spoken and easy to understand. She has a very easy going manner, is informative, very knowledgeable, friendly and has a good sense of humour. I have lived in Stratford for 13 years and there were many things I learned and... More

My husband and I traveled from London to Stratford Upon Avon for the day. We took the time to do this tour based on all of the fantastic reviews, and we were not disappointed. Margot, our lovely tour guide who lives in SUA, provided an educational and engaging 2-hour trip back in time to the days of Shakespeare. The high... More

Highly recommended, probably the best town walk that I have ever been on. David the guide took us on a 2 hour tour of all the main sights of Stratford with an informative and entertaining commentary - full of interesting history interspersed with amusing anecdotes. The highlight of our Stratford trip!

This was one of the best walking tours I have ever taken and a great value - only £5. Our guide, David Gunnell, was an incredible storyteller and overflowed with knowledge about his hometown. There were so many things I would have missed or walked by without knowing if I had not joined this tour. The walk was 2 hours... More

This tour was money very well-spent. David, our guide, proudly shows off his hometown with clear history, pithy anecdotes and a sprinkling of Shakespearean quotes. Our 13-year-old was engaged from start to finish throughout the two-hour walk. We appreciated his honest and candid recommendations for lunch following the tour, especially since he steered us away from some places that he... More

Our tour guide Margot, retired to the area 6 years ago and now imparts her considerable knowledge of Shakespeare and Stratford with elan and enthusiasm. She is both elegant and eloquent, making our two hour tour, informative, entertaining and amusing. She even managed to keep the rain at bay with her mustard coloured umbrella.
