This is a tour well worth the money. For just over 2 hrs, it is a bargain for £6. John was a fabulous guide with great knowledge and a passion for Stratford. His little added touches of magic tricks and quirky bits of information made it even better. I have been to Stratford a few times but now feel I... More

Really interesting and well presented tour. I really appreciated the extra hand outs. The tour is done by local volunteers and though I have visited and explored Stratford many times I managed to learn new things or hear a different perspective. Highly recommend it.

Barbara our guide was excellent. She was informative and humorous and told the story of Stratford and Shakespeare sprinkled with interesting facts about history and origins of well know sayings. We would heartily recommend it.

An enjoyable and informative walk around Stratford upon Avon. Lasting 2 hours, this easy paced and leisurely stroll takes in all the places of interest when visiting Shakespeare country. Very enjoyable and relaxing walking tour and it was a great way to learn all about Stratford. Not just for the history and Shakespeare but all the sights and attractions, which made it easier for us to explore on our own. Liked that we didnt have to book and just turn up, its £6 but well worth it. You also... More

We recently had the great pleasure to experience the Stratford Town Walk with John. It was one of the most informative, amusing and totally entertaining "tours" and certainly inspired our interest in Shakespearean England. John's dramatic flourish at the conclusion of the walk, with the poem, was truly something to behold. A must do exercise when visiting Stratford upon Avon.

I took the 2 hours walking tour with our guide David. The city itself is a charming one and with David's guidance it got better. He reads sonnets from Shakespeare and he even greeted me in Turkish :) I definitely advise you to take this tour.

We joined the Town Walk with Barbara on a rainy Sunday morning , & were a very select little group . This didn't seem to curb Barbara's enthusiasm for all things Stratford & we certainly agreed. It was unbelievably good value for money & the 2 hours flew past. We learnt the derivations of several well known sayings as well... More
