I would highly recommend this show to everyone. The music is fantastic, the dancing is brilliant, the story is beautiful. I could have sat and watched it again when it finished. Excellent, excellent, worth going to see this marvellous show.

Now am I reviewing the theatre or the show? Well, we've never seen a bad performance here and our most recent visit was to see the Propeller production of A Midsummer Night's Dream which was fantastic! We have been coming to this venue for well over thirty years so that is both before and after the renovation work and I... More

The Theatre Royal always delivers excellent shows, whether it's pantomime or dramas. The only downside is the cost which can be expensive for a family

I come here quite often. It is a beautiful building. I love Theatre productions and I am here every year, without fail for the yearly pantomime with the family. It's a place you must visit if you are in Newcastle.

Saw Ballet Rambert's performance of Rooster last night . Amazing show. Very simple sets, stunning dancing by all of the cast. Particularly enjoyed the Rolling Stones bit. Theatre Royal excellent as always. Nothing to dislike really. Beautiful old theatre, friendly helpful staff

Saw great play here. Great imagination in use of scenery and set for play - Dial M for Murder. Comfortable seats and good leg room.Impressive building from outside. Theatre tickets get your free Metro travel 2 hours before and after show - great idea. Near Monument Metro station.

Firstly I love the renovations they made a few years ago, replacing the old, dated chairs with new ones that look more authentic and are really comfortable. The climate control is also a lot better now & the shows that are on generally worth visiting (Dial M for Murder today a really thrilling and well staged production). But the change... More
