Booked to see this show after seeing it in London last year and was not disappointed. It was fabulous! Dancing, singing, full of energy and costumes to die for! The theatre royal is a beautiful theatre and well worth a visit whatever the show. This theatre compares very well with any west end theatre and is a huge credit to... More

Located in Grey Street, the Theatre Royal is right in the city centre and it's beautiful. I went to see the Mousetrap play based in a book from Agatha Christie. The theatre is beautiful on the inside.

Have been to Theatre Royal many times, this time to see Mousetrap, enjoyed the show but just have to say the seats are desperate, painful after just ten minutes. The theatre looks stunning but the seats are numbing. And this was in the expensive seats.

We just LOVE the Christmas pantomime with Clive, Danny & Chris. We never miss a year... Great stage presence & always a load of laughs... Music & pantomime routines are brilliantly performed. A+++.

This is a beautiful theatre which was built in 1788. It's obviously gone through some changes, but still retains it's charm. Comfortable seating with 3 tiers, plenty of leg room. The seating is off set, so everybody gets a good view. The architecture inside is very impressive. The Theatre is in a great location, very handy for all the restaurants... More

Went to see Mousetrap here, great performance and a stunning building, slight numb bum by the end of the show so seats could have slightly more padding!

We hadn't been for some time and on a recent visit were amazed at the quality of the whole place after an obviously extensive refit. It will surely make us think seriously about another visit.

We visited the Theatre Royal on Grey Street during the afternoon so no productions were in progress. However, we did get to enjoy the building's facade and interior lobby. We tried to peek through the interior doors but they were locked! The theatre was built back in the 1800s with a rebuild around 1900. Would love to go see a... More

It was a well-performed musical with Brian Conley as Fagin. The atmosphere and whole evening was brilliant
