The theatre is a fantastic place to go, since it's refit there have been some amazing productions. However last night excelled brilliant acting, having read the book and seen the film you all did a fab job to convey the story and emotion. Well done to stage. The staff were really helpful too x thanks for great night

just been tonight and it's such a beautifully kept theatre. Great city centre location and very imposing. Watched several productions and love going. Only gripe is that when sitting in the seats for upto three hours, your left a little numb in the bum.

This is a gorgeous theatre and well worth a visit. The street it is on - Grey Street - is stunning too and surrounded by bars and restaurants as well as minute away from Newcastle's main shopping areas.

watched a production of Rebecca which was very enjoyable. This is a lovely old building and it feels like a real treat to watch a play in it. was a bit surprised that no one asked me for my ticket or showed me to my seat, could have just walked in off the street and sat down. there was also... A big fan of Matthew Bourne. The man can do know wrong. The 2nd time I have seen the Car Man. The 1st was good but the 2nd exceeded all expectations. Fabulous set. Great music. The atheliticisom of the dancers both male and female were exceptional. The gay sub plot was more to the fore this time but whether the... More

This production was absolutely brilliant, so much so that my husband and I have booked to go again. Of course, the music was excellent but the dancers were fabulous. They told the story perfectly - no words were needed. We have been to a number of shows at the Theatre Royal but I must say this has been the best.... More

Fantastic theatre, we sat in stalls to see To Kill a Mockingbird. Fab seats even at the back. Lovely staff here, parking is a slight minor though.

Been here to see a few shows with friends always sat in the stalls but always had great views I like how there are cushions for smaller children to use so they are able to see better. A lovely theatre.
