With family went to see Sister Act, an amateur production based on the popular movie of the 90's. We had a great time. The show was foot stompingly good. All the actors and dancers put their heart and soul into it and provided some marvellous performances. It was simply magnificent entertainment. The whole production was professionally put together, both musically... More

Sister act was amazing !! The cast were fantastic and we were amazed at how many actors the show had on stage . Lights , sound , dancing , singing , comedy and loads of laughter in the audience . Totally brilliant , shame it's only on for one week as I'm sure lots of people would have gone next... More

We went to see Sister Act yesterday for the afternoon performance. I cannot believe how poor it was. The singing was not great, the dancers were not in cinq and to be honest we left after 45 minutes as we were not enjoying - just enduring. I saw The Bodyguard at Theatre Royal in April this year and it was... More

Visited the theatre this week to see Sister act. The building will take your breath away, it is absolutely magnificent. The building has been refurbished but it has still got charm and it looks very grand. No disabled access issues there is a lift. And the staff are very helpful. Anyway onto the Show, it was absolutely hilarious, The actors... More

We went last night to see Sister Act, what an amazing production! If you can get tickets for this show you will not be disappointed. The whole show was packed with laughs, great music and such amazing talent. The show has been cast perfectly and we were bowled over by the most incredible voices of the cast, these guys can... What a lovely theatre. Really enjoyed our visit to Newcastle and our trip to the theatre was the cherry on the cake. Apart from the show which was amazing (Annie) I thought the theatre was one of the best I've visited.

The theatre is such a beautiful building both inside and out. We go here yearly for the Christmas pantomime which always has us laughing and enjoying ourselves.. It never gets old!

Watched a superb performance of 'Annie' there last week with Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly Come Dancing as Miss Hannigan. Staff were really friendly. The cast all performed brilliantly. This theatre has definitely been well preserved and looked after and certainly has all the grandeur of previous eras. I hope this theatre will continue to be well looked after for... More

I'm so proud to say we have this beautiful theatre in my city of Newcastle. It's stunning architecture is breathtaking and placed right on Newcastle grey street, arguably one of the most beautiful streets in the UK. It does get some of the great shows from London, as well as armature production too, supporting north east theatre groups. When visiting... More

This is the key venue for top class entertainment in the North East. It has a great old-fashioned theatre feel. The seats are a bit short of leg-room. Strangely, the upper circle seats do not tip up, so passing is difficult. But the shows and plays make up for this - it is great to see a pre-West End event,... More
