I hadnt booked in advance as I was travelling by coach that day and didn't trust it to be on time for the show. As it happened, I arrived in Newcastle just before the box office opened, so stuck around in town to check whether there were any tickets available. I was in luck as there had been a return... More

What a fantastic show " and then there were none " was on July 31st. Great British actors giving a fantastic performance, in this well known story. I have 3 more versions on DVD at home, I just love this story. They did not disappoint at all, very cleverly written and performed. Will be there next time Agatha returns.

Came here to see the body guard! Was brilliant!! Saw the last ever showing which made it even more special. Actors were brilliant with gorgeous voices. Was lovely to get involved and sing and dance at the end! Seats were awful!!! Right on the top floor and then some more tiny narrow stairs after that! Not good but were £22... More

It's a few years since we came to the Theatre Royal. Not because we don't love the Royal, more because we find parking much easier at other venues and travel all over the North East to shows. Brilliant performance from the Agatha Christie Theatre Company. Excellent production! Theatre staff were very efficient. Our only complaint was our seats (front row)... More

Dear Sir / Madam; Thanks for your feedback, and we are delighted you enjoyed the show. However we sincerely apologise for your experience with the seats. Yes- they are removable but should be securely fixed, and we’ll double check this as a priority. Thanks for letting us know. Re your comment about parking – we do have very good public... More

The Theatre Royal is a beautiful building and luckily hasn't been left to fall into dilapidation like unfortunately happens to a lot of these places. My friend and I went to see the Agatha Christie play ' And Then There Were None' recently and I can confirm everything is still as wonderful as it was on previous visits to see... More

With family went to see Sister Act, an amateur production based on the popular movie of the 90's. We had a great time. The show was foot stompingly good. All the actors and dancers put their heart and soul into it and provided some marvellous performances. It was simply magnificent entertainment. The whole production was professionally put together, both musically... More

Sister act was amazing !! The cast were fantastic and we were amazed at how many actors the show had on stage . Lights , sound , dancing , singing , comedy and loads of laughter in the audience . Totally brilliant , shame it's only on for one week as I'm sure lots of people would have gone next... More

We went to see Sister Act yesterday for the afternoon performance. I cannot believe how poor it was. The singing was not great, the dancers were not in cinq and to be honest we left after 45 minutes as we were not enjoying - just enduring. I saw The Bodyguard at Theatre Royal in April this year and it was... More

Visited the theatre this week to see Sister act. The building will take your breath away, it is absolutely magnificent. The building has been refurbished but it has still got charm and it looks very grand. No disabled access issues there is a lift. And the staff are very helpful. Anyway onto the Show, it was absolutely hilarious, The actors... More

We went last night to see Sister Act, what an amazing production! If you can get tickets for this show you will not be disappointed. The whole show was packed with laughs, great music and such amazing talent. The show has been cast perfectly and we were bowled over by the most incredible voices of the cast, these guys can...
