Lovely little victorian theatre with lots of great eating places nearby. It had beautiful architecture and ornate ceilings. Nice to see the place still in good use.

This is a gem. An amazing building which had a complete refurb a couple of years ago. They get top class drama and musicals, often before they go to the West End. A lovely night out. We are fortunate to have it.

Lovely old theatre with plenty of leg room, good toilet facilities and great shows. Being right in the centre of Newcastle it is ideal whether for an afternoon or evening out.

We went to the theatre at the end of April and it was my first visit since the refurbishment. The seats are much better and much more legroom. beautifully decorated throughout. I look forward to returning again

Amazing! So many years since we had all been to a panto but it was worth every penny to take my 4 year old Niece! She was mesmerised as were we. Comfortable & clean. Great seats & friendly staff.

The theatre is such a beautiful building outside and in - you really need to imagine you're in a long Victorian gown to ascend the wide staircases (just don't trip up!). Our last experience was after the updating, watching Oliver. Unfortunately, the smoke detectors were over sensitive and at the end of the first song, the alarms went off and... More

there are plenty of shows to see for all ages and show types. me and my family come every Christmas to see peter pan or Aladdin. we love coming here. the food is a little expensive and the toys for kids (or childish adults) are also expensive but the tickets were cheap so they need to make money somehow
