Came away for the day on a Saturday for drinks. Bar service was really slow both times I waited at the bar and there was no "banter" from any of the staff. Drinks good but some draft largers "off" early afternoon. Food service was hot and fresh and there was plenty of tables available.

Me and my partner found this on our way to another weatherspoons, I must say the service we were given was excellent and the information that was given to us was very appreciated. We will definitely be returning.

On the 16th of Feburary myself and four others visited this establishment in the hopes of getting some breakfast. We got to the door and were refused entry because the bouncers automatically assumed we were West Ham supporters because some of us had East London accents. I am utterly outraged at this because I thought Wetherspoon pubs were meant to... More

On arrival found a table with old plates, leftover food and dirty glasses still on it. Eventually cleared about 45 mins later. Only one serving in main front bar, about 12 people waiting, and only one in glass roof bar. Also aggressive Neanderthal customers near us, I didn't want your bloody coat! Seems to have gone downhill, shame!

Called in for tea with Mrs, I had 14oz steak wife had same I asked for it rare like the Mrs did the only rare thing on the plate was the mushrooms. The steak was medium and the sauce came straight out of a packet. The idea most things comes out of freezer into microwave really is true in here.... More

Popped in during a shopping trip and was extremely surprised at the actual size of the building. It is extremely clean and the architecture was absolutely amazing, a feature which made our visit that little more interesting, as it was certainly a conversation piece. There is a fantastic selection of drinks at a very reasonable price, given the city centre... More

Went for tea whilst on a weekend away in Newcastle. The rugby was on, the pub had a good atmosphere and the food was tasty and good choice of drinks and all at great prices

My Sister in law and I went for Sunday lunch with our two children before we went to Disney on Ice at the arena. It's a tradition that we have done now for years. We arrived around 1300, the time the food was ordered was on my receipt was 1306. On ordering I was told there was no Turkey left... More
