Arriving early into Newcastle to meet up for a train I decided to have lunch alone here. I was greeted by a staff member on entry who gave me directions around the bar/restaurant depending on my choice. I then chose a table upstairs and went to the bar to order - it took a few moments for service as the... More

I had a delicious bacon roll with my daddy. The ladies who served me and daddy were lovely and when I drew a picture one of them put it on the wall for me

Close to Central station, sells good value food and drink, fabulous building inside and out. Great meeting point for a night on the town/ prematch beers.

Went for breakfast every morning whilst we were over in Newcastle and got really great value for money with both their large and traditional frys. Staff very friendly and helpful and relaxing ambience each time we were there. Very close to the Central Station so perfect to go for food and or drink on your way to your next destination.

We enjoyed the usual good value breakfast at this Wetherspoon's and called in for pre-dinner drinks on two of the three nights of our stay in the city. It is very convenient to the centre of Newcastle and its building is interesting and expansive. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

I was a little unsure of which ale to try, being new to real ale. I was advised by a very polite and knowledgable young lady. I think she was blonde, quite short and from the sounds of it, from Manchester. She knew her stuff and made me feel very welcome. Whenever we're back in the city my wife and... More

It's a Wetherspoons so you know what you're getting. This is a nice building with a few different rooms spread over a couple of floors.

Had to wait more than 20 mins for a cup of coffee, staff didn't give a monkeys. "We didn't know people would want coffee" and "we're busy" are just two of the less than stellar excuses given. The breakfast came with no butter, "we've run out" and the bacon was a strange grey colour. I've never eaten grey bacon before,... More

Not your typical wetherspoons, located in a large old building with lots of smaller rooms leading off the main stairwell /entrance. Good location opposite main railway station. Typical reasonably priced food and drink, friendly staff and good atmosphere Visited a number of times when working in city
