A fantastic place to visit and go for a walk with the old mill and the petting 'zoo'. Great for dog walkers and cyclists.

Gorgeous scenery, beautiful vista and a range of Clara and fauna to be enjoyed. Plenty of pretty areas to walk and take in the loveliness of this park

Lovely park for a afternoon stroll on a sunny day. A little get away from the busy city life especially if you live in Newcastle.

Beautiful park with a lovely petting zoo- it's quite magical in the winter but worth a look in all year round.

Could be an amazing park if it was cleaner ! The staff probably makes much effort to keep the park clean but I notice way to many plastic bags hanging of tree branches, etc. That's such a shame because it truely is a beautiful spot in Newcastle. Ideal walk for one of those slow, lazy Sundays. Good for all ages, though there are some steep slopes in places which might not suit everyone particularly if it has been raining.

We often visit here with our young daughters aged 5 and 2. Parking is free and only a short distance. There is a large grass area ideal for picnicking and a small fenced play area for the children to enjoy. The animal area is well maintained and a nice walk through seeing animals such as rabbits to pigs depending on... More

I love coming here for a day out. The whole place looks gorgeous in every season. I most recently visited yesterday when the sun was blaring. There is plenty to look at to keep everyone entertained. I recommend walking along to the old mill and the waterfall, they are both beautiful.
