I live a 20 min walk from the park and use it regularly both summer and winter. Very scenic with its waterfall and old Mill. Always busy with dog walkers, joggers, amateur photographers and families. Lovely childrens petting zoo and good food and pleasant staff in the cafe. Highly recommend

While the weather wasn't great while we were in Newcastle, we still enjoyed our walk around the park. It's far larger than we thought it would be, there are several landmarks and attractions, loved it.

Bring the boys here all the time. Local and convenient. The park is lush in the Autumn, remember it from years ago an it hasnt changed. The pet corner is excellent and keeps the kids busy being right next to the playground.

What a wonderful enjoyable and surprisingly lovely walk in this park area, filled with waterfalls, bird life, greenery and a pets corner for the little ones to enjoy. A far cry from the Jesmond Dene of my childhood. I came back here as a visitor to the UK and was very pleasantly surprised. If I lived nearby I would be... More

My partner had a lovely walk through this park at the end of October. The park in Autumn is lovely, the colours from all the leaves and the stream and bridges make it a lovely place to explore. This was my first visit here but I know that I will be going back and would like to see the park... More

So lucky to have this urban oasis in the middle of the city. You forget where you are. Nice coffee shop, pets corner for the younger ones - well worth a visit

I love the fact that this park is so close to the urban part of newcastle. There is an old water mill, very cute bridges, a mini animal park, and many foot paths for runners. This park enables you to escape the city life. However, there is nothing especially beautiful about the landscape.

Visited here with the family. Lovely little petting area for the kids with only donation required so doesn't break the bank. Beautiful wildlife and countryside walk with lovely features along the way. Waterfall etc. Plenty of opportunities for picnics or on site cafe. Can agree slightly with graffiti comments that have been highlighted but the 'military troop' comments - please!... More
