We had a brilliant family day out at the centre and both children (ages 7 & 3) really enjoyed it. We've been several times before but our eldest daughter loves science so always nags us to go back. The shows we saw in the little theater and planetarium were all different and really enjoyable. The "Do try this at home"... More

Overpriced, looks like something put together by a bunch of schoolkids. The 4d motion ride was good, so was the photo exhibition, but the rest wasnt. The food on offer in the catering areas looked very unappetising.Considering there was a large area out of use, there was no discounts. There are plenty of museums that are a lot cheaper or free of... We are local to the area and decided to visit the museum with my 3 children. The entry fee was ridiculous for what was inside as many people have already said and friends warned me before visiting. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere. The exhibits are all tired, dated and dirty looking. There is no explanation as to... More

Thanks for taking the time to post feedback. Life is an educational charity and we don't receive any public funding, so our entrance fees are essential for us to continue operating. We conduct detailed visitor experience research and the vast majority report that we are good or very good value for money. We feel our ticket prices are fair in... More

Called in to the Life Science Centre to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition. If you like photography this is well worth a visit, there are great photographs from around the world. You do have to pay to enter the Life Centre but it's worth taking the time to have a look around. There is a 4D motion... More

I'm happy to tell you that the Life Science Centre has some fascinating and educational exhibits. I'm equally happy to tell you that if you have time and patience you'll have a great time. So why not five stars? Well, first there's the cost of admission. In my opinion it's high especially for a family. And then there's the layout.... More

Dear David Thanks for taking the time to post feedback. Life is an educational charity and we don't receive any public funding, so our entrance fees are necessary to ensure we're able to continue operating. Visitors often spend up to a whole day at Life and the majority report that we are good value for money. Best wishes Nicola More

I came here especially to see the BodyWorlds exhibition and wasn't disappointed. I must confess I didn't look at the rest of the exhibitions but it was full of very happy families so I assume everyone was happy

We went on Saturday. Kids love the 4D motion ride. However, after waiting in queue for a second go on the 4D ride were were (rudely) told by the rep that we couldn't go on again due to them being 'busy'. (We counted at least 6 seats spare). He was not sympathetic. I asked why and he said "They're the... More

We visited the Life Science Centre with a family ticket bought as a christmas gift, and we managed to catch the final day of Gunther von Hagens 'BodyWorlds Vital' exhibition. My wife and 11 yr old son had visited earlier in its opening, but I was very glad to have seen it, too. Having seen TV documentaries about the man... More
