We were on holiday in the area and decided to take our 2 year old twins to the toddler day at the centre – and they loved it! There were lots of hands on activities for them and it was safe enough for them to wonder around at their own pace. The only small criticism is that one of the... More

Game On exhibition was brilliant. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed it and definitely got a feeling of nostalgia! The only thing is, it is veryy over priced.

So I took my brother to this event as gaming has been in our blood since we were young. The exhibition is absolutely fantastic with the largest range of consoles and games for everyone to play. Personally for me the best feeling was watching both the older generations and the young play away to their hearts content. I recommend it... More

We had friends visiting from Coventry and as the weather was rainy we suggested Life Centre. Our kids and their kids loved Game On (actually we all did). We got to play on old computer games from our childhood. The kids loved trying out older games too. They loved the 4D ride. I couldn't go on it as I had... More

Absolutely loved this exhibition. Great opportunity to play all the games consoles you know so well from your childhood and all the ones you missed out on from your parents childhood. Went with my mam and we played a few 2 player games of Pac Man, Space Invaders and Track and Field. They are all free to play once you... More

Pak Man, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter, NBA slam - if you spent your childhood flicking 10p coins into arcade machines with other geeks and then frantically slamming buttons to attain the glory of a three letter entry onto the high score list then Life's latest exhibition is for you! Add a chance to play all the recent mine craft /... More

Had a great time, as a 23 year old seeing some of my first consoles like the commodore 64 in the games exhibition was so much fun. Ignore all bad reviews of this place, some people are just hard to please ;) would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys having fun! Would definitely return. Girl on the brain talk did... More

We usually visit once or twice a year, usually to see specific exhibits such as Doctor Who or Lego; this time we went for the Game On 2.0 exhibit. The kids had a great time trying all the games from our childhoods, our youngest (age 7) particularly enjoyed playing on the Speak & Spell and our eldest (age 13) managed... More

One of our 7 year old twin boys failed the height requirement for the Sponge Bob ride (one of the main reasons we went) by millimetres, a different pair of shoes would have got him through, but the officious nature of the attendant spoiled the visit for us all, a case of Health and Safety box ticking denying a child... Hi Stompy15 Thanks for taking the time to post feedback. I'm really sorry you were disappointed you weren't all tall enough to use the 4D Motion Ride, however the height restriction of 1.2 metres is strictly for safety reasons, which is why we do not make exceptions. The safety of our visitors is our top priority - it's not worth... More
