I've lived in Newcastle forever and even worked close to the Life Science Centre but I have never once stepped foot through the doors until this weekend gone. The Centre is very much geared towards the younger generation and in getting them interested in the life sciences (always a good thing) particularly the Curiosity Zone. As most of the exhibits... While the exhibition venue was excellent and the staff were very attentive the actual 'Body works exhibition' given by Gunther Von Hargens was a bit of a let down. The process of body preparation is unique and worth seeing but, and this is where my dissapointment arises, the items displayed on the posters, leaflets and show program did not portray... More

Hi Steve I can confirm BODY WORLDS Vital is in fact a full exhibition and not part of a touring exhibition. BODY WORLDS is not currently on a country-wide tour - we are very proud to be the only UK venue currently showing a BODY WORLDS exhibition, and we are not aware of any existing plans to show BODY WORLDS... I visited yesterday and was simply delighted at the centre and the high level of service I received. The reception staff were smiley, helpful and efficient and the prices were very reasonable, the selection of food on offer in the two cafés was varied with something for every member of my family (the children's meals are very good value for... Came to Newcastle to visit a friend and made time to visit the life science centre to see the body worlds exhibition. The exhibition was absolutely fantastic!! As a student I even got discounted entry - extremely good value for money!

I decided to come here after it was mentioned on the tour bus, I really enjoyed it even though I only had time for the 4D motion ride(Amazon was playing) and the Body Worlds exhibition, would certainly come and spend longer here if I had the time. I hope to go back again sometime, thank you for a fun time

Came here on a rainy day whilst up in Newcastle. The Body exhibition was on and it was highly interesting. We spent a good few hours looking around and enjoyed all the acitivities especially the 4D simulation ride! Money well spent if you ask me! Never been to a place like it. Would definitely recommend

On the 14th July 2014 we visited the Centre for Life or the life science centre as some may call it. Choosing to visit on a weekday was great compared to a weekend or during the school holidays, when there's big queues and lots of kids everywhere! As we entered the building we could clearly see the entrance fees on... More

Dear visitor Thanks so much for your positive review, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your visit to Life, and in particular the Body Worlds exhibition. Thank you for raising the issue about wheelchair accessibility in the pre-natal area of the exhibition. Unfortunately we are unable to alter the Body Worlds exhibits ourselves, however we have alerted the Body Worlds... More
