It was nice to see that the Centre for Life has updated itself a little since I last visited with lots of the exhibits renewed. I went specifically to see Body Works Vital and loved it. Absolutely fascinating and not at all gory. A fantastic opportunity to see a diseased lung next to a healthy one, any smoker will want... More

Hi Lynne Thanks so much for posting your review - we're happy to hear you found BODY WORLDS so fascinating. The healthy and diseased lung exhibit you mention is particularly impactful as you say. I just wanted to clarify the situation with Gift Aid on entry in case there was any confusion. We do request that visitors give an additional... More

We came to the Life centre especially for the Body World's Vital exhibition and were not disappointed. What an amazing display not to be missed. It was wonderful to see the complexity of the human body illustrated in this way. before I went I thought it might be gruesome, but not at all. It was quite beautiful. On another note... More

BODY WORLDS Vital. An amazing exhibition of real human bodies preserved through plastination absolutely amazing. Lots of other interesting items to read and learn through interaction also the Back to the Moon in the planetarium was fabulous and the Move it demonstration with Richard in the Science theatre was really good even though it is probably aimed at a younger... I visited the centre at the beginning of September with a friend and our children. The exhibitions were all fantastic but the staff were rude, miserable, and spoiled the whole experience. I saw at least 5 staff and not a smile or cheerful greeting from a single one of them....

Having heard about the exhibits at Life Science Centre, we decided to see for ourselves. And what a brilliant day out it was. The entrance welcomes you from the start, with friendly knowledgable staff on hand to guide and direct you (it is well signed, but we do like that human touch) The interactive exhibits there are mesmerising and behold... I've only been on a pre-school day with my toddlers as it's much more affordable. We could easily spend all day there as there's so much for them to play with.

Attended pre-school day at the Centre for Life with my son today who is 14 months old. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was packed full of events for young explorers. Everything from learning about mini beasts to singing and dancing at the Piccolo music workshop. There was a great variety of educational and fun activities that kept my... More

I have been going to the museum since I was young, and it would change it's theme every time I went which. This is beneficial for those who find it dull just returning to one museum over and over again and seeing the same things on display, it provides a change of scenery and even opens up the opportunity to...
