It's a canny day out with the family but it's not cheap. It doesn't change very often either. We saw the human body exhibition when it was on which was fantastic though.

This exhibition which is totally hands on is fantastic, we went with our 8 year old and he loved it nearly as much as me and my wife. If your a person born in the 70s and 80s you will love playing all the retro games again from pacman, centerpede, space invaders to many more. We spent 3 hours in... More

Enough to interest two adults and teen son, especially the Game 2.0 exhibition if computer games. The 4D Spongebob motion ride was great fun and the planetarium show well done. Free child entrance (under 16s) with voucher on Sightseeing bus leaflet or day travelcard.. We didn't try the cafe but it was reasonably priced (large filled baguettes for £2.95) with... More

Visited while the 'Game On 2.0' exhibit was on, a large collection of games/platforms available to play on, very nostalgic! Could happily have spent an hour or two in this exhibit alone, even though it was very busy there was such a large selection there was always something to move on to. We managed to catch the Planetarium showing, which... More

We came here for the afternoon with friends and really enjoyed it. The 4D motion ride was good and the boys were very interested in the gaming exhibition.

I visited here with my family. Three adults and four children (Ages 2, 7, 9, 11) The older children loved it and found all the games fun, the toddler not so much he was a bit bored. The area for younger children wasn't very appealing. As for the adults it was ok. I did enjoy it but its one of... More

We went when a gaming exhibition was on and if it wasn't I would say it is way too expensive for the amount of things to do!! Probably won't visit again because of the price!

Brilliant place to visit with kids of all ages, the lift is big enough for a large double buggy (bugaboo donkey)

we went to see the body works exhibition, very good. The staff were friendly and we had a wonder round after the body works, lots to interest children and a constant changing of displays/ events so that theres something new every time. the 4D cinema is different but included in the price so worth trying out.

Bringing two teenagers away presents challenges; how to stimulate them, and how to find mutual ground for entertainment purposes for me as a middle aged bloke, and my somewhat younger offspring! The lLife Science centre did just that; the exhibition of past and present computer games (fully functional) was excellent! My walk down memory lane back to space invaders, and... More
