£5 entry to be crammed into an overcrowded pub. Bar area isn't big enough, takes ages to get served, we left after about 30 minutes

Stayed in flares all night as the vibe was great. Enjoyed the sharing cocktails with friends and loved the music. Never stopped dancing, so glad I wore flats. Great night!!!

Every time I have a weekend in Newcastle Flares is where we head to! I think this is a brilliant night out with a varied mix of ages - right across the board - literally!! The most refeshing thing about Flares, is that everyone just seems to want to enjoy themselves, I always liken it to that 'holiday feeling' Love... More

Group of x 5. We got "kicked out" of another local nightclub (long story!), so looked for somewhere else to go. Stumbled across this little gem of a place. We had a brilliant night out - the bouncers were friendly, the people in the club all seemed genuinely happy to be there, and for once we were dancing on a... More

If you are in a party mood then head to Flares Newcastle. This has to be be the best atmosphere in the city.. Entertaining DJ's with a selction of great parety tunes all night... Flares does not play current music and has also progressed from just the 1970's era.. But my party loved every minute and we stayed in the... More

I went here with a few friends (guys and girls) last weekend. It was really awful unless you're over 50! It was full of drunk, middle aged (and older!) men and women. We were all early 30s and felt very strange in this place. The music wasn't all that 70s/80s focused and it had a fairly unpleasant atmosphere. It took... More
