Travelling from Kingston Upon Thames on the A24 we came across Denbies Wine Estate by chance, noticing an advertising hoarding on the roundabout north of Dorking station on the west side. It is a large estate winery, with lots of history, we just managed to catch the vineyard landrover/trailer tour that gives you a guided commentary up over the hills... More

A friend and I did the indoors tour at Denbies. The tour began with a film showing the different stages of wine making and how the estate changes during the seasons. The film was shown in the round which was an amazing visual experience. The way soil affects wine making was also discussed in the film. We then were shown... More

Was given gift cards to this lovely vineyard in Surrey. The morning included a train ride up through the vineyards to a spectacular high point that overlooks the vineyards. Also included in our gift was a glass of "champagne" produced at the vineyard. Fabulous weather, amazing views and an interesting commentary from the driver giving the history of the estate.... More

As a special birthday treat,my son took me to Denbighs. The drive in was like being in another country, grapes hanging on vines in abundance as they were about a fortnight off of being harvested. We had lunch in the restaurant, which gives views all around area, quite spectacular. The food was really well cooked and beautifully presented and of course a glass of their own... Decent tour of the winery with a video of the history. Wine tasting was ok but don't expect to get drunk on what you get. Part of local hotel deal but tours cost from £6 to £20 depending on what you want.

After a picnic on the hills above Denbies, we took the "outside" tour. The round trip lasted about 45 minutes and cost £6.00/head. There was an English only commentary plus an opportunity to as questions. We did this in mid September on an unusually warm and sunny day and the views were quite spectacular. Afterwards, there was an opportunity to... More

I choose Denbies vineyard for a tour, wine tasting and lunch after I was given a WHSmiths activities superstore voucher, Denbies saved the day as the activities superstore is one of the worst companies I have ever delt with and would never buy anything from them. That said Denbies was brilliant, the staff were easy going, helpful and friendly. The... More

Did the classic tour. Very informative, there was no action taking place in the winery at the time of the visit but it was still a nice trip.Tasted three varieties of wine as part of the tour. Lovely grounds and gift store. It was a nice few hours out of the hotel we were staying close by.

We did the tour as part of a package, the Hotel was excellent, but I was left feeling like the tour could have been more. The lady taking the tour was certainly knowledgeable, and the inforama was quite impressive, but when you walk through an empty processing and bottling plant, with no activity I felt a little let down (everything...
