We went on the interior tour, one hour including a movie, short walking tour and in our case the sparkling wine tasting. It's interesting and particularly nice to see an English vineyard in action but the tour was made by our guide Mona who knew everything there was to now about the estate, English wine and the way the market... You must go and visit Denbies. Not only for the coffee place they have. The perfect excuse for a nice wine tasting course. The coffee place is full of cakes and pastries to choose from, although a bit expensive. The wines are good, as i had the chance to try them, but i think they are over priced not to... More

Been to Denbies several times. I love lunch here. The food is excellent as is the service. I have to say that although I am a French red wine fiend the red wine here at Denbies is excellent. In fact I often take a bottle when I visit my French friends, who love it. Denbies is located in a beautiful... More

We had lunch at The Conservatory today. It was OK but surely a beef stroganoff should have a reasonable amount of beef in it for almost £10 - otherwise call it mushroom stroganoff. Not good value. Also, dear management, take a look at your tea and coffee cups! Many of them need a good clean. Shame on you, that's not difficult... More

We went on the wine tasting and canapes tour on a Saturday morning. Our guide Mona was fantastic, so knowledgeable and interesting with a wry sense of humour. We started off by watching a very informative film in 360 degrees about how Denbies came into being. This was followed by a tour of the winery to view how the wine... More

I was staying at Wotton House with my husband while he attended a conference and needed an afternoon excursion, so I took a taxi over to Denbies Wine Estate. My husband and I enjoy wine tasting and have been lucky enough to enjoy some great wineries. But I was a bit surprised to walk in the door and see the... More

Denbies is ideally situated with good parking. Lovely setting. I stopped for a short break. Treated myself to a latte and a sandwich, Sandwich (Cheese salad) was freshly made and was delicious. They also had a gift shop with a wide variety of goods. Staff were polite. A little pricy but well worth it. I thoroughly recommend this place.

This visit for lunch was much better than our last visit in the evening. Opted for the fixed lunch menu offered at £15.95 for a starter and main course, to keep the cost down. The main menu all seems rather expensive! Disappointing that you get absolutely NO CHOICE with the fixed lunch, not even catering for vegetarians (not that we... More

Have always used the downstairs cafe so seemed a good idea to try the Gallery lunch menu for Dads birthday however there was only one choice - cauliflower soup and chicken with potatoes. The mixed/a la carte menu was not explained, seemed to be a ploy to get diners to choice from the a la carte. The view across the... More
