The Denbies Estate consists of a very large vineyard - perhaps one of the largest in England. It is highly recommended if you are a wine enthusiast. It offers the possibility of going round the vineyards and taking both indoor and outdoor visits. It is a bit pricy but woth visiting.

The outdoor tour of the vineyard was informative and enjoyable (the lovely weather helped). You can also roam around on your own after which was nice. Lovely little gift shop with good offers on the wines. The indoor tasting tour started 10-15 minutes late, possibly as the outdoor tours were running late. By the time we finished the video and... Even indoors you can have different tours. One ends with tasting three wines at £9.95. But if you want to end with three sparkling wines it costs £14. On a rainy day or short of time you might opt for only the indoor tour. I recommend both, but if you had to choose only one, do the indoor tour. You... More

We have done this once before and really enjoyed it. Previously we had gone by car but this time we went by train to take advantage of the lunchtime wine and wine tasting. We had a really enjoyable day again. The Denbies train is a great way of seeing the estate from a height and our guide was wonderfully entertaining.... More

We where given the day for Christmas and finally got around to doing it. We learnt a fair bit about the wine making process and despite the rain we had a nice day. The food could have been nicer but it was OK. I did not like most of the wine but that is personal taste how ever the sparkling... More

The whole experience felt like a tourist trap. The wine tour was hurried and lacked atmosphere. The weather was the only saving grace. Even the shop and restaurant felt impersonal. A money making experience, we are afraid we have to say.

I frequently walk the dog in the beautiful Denbies vineyard and wanted to know more about how they make the wine so booked the 'Vine and Dine experience'. I had a really marvellous day from start to finish and can't wait to go again! The day started at 8.30 with tea and a bacon buttie in the restaurant and we... More

This attraction is worth searching out Denbies is Great Britain's largest vineyard with a 'terroir' to match the champagne region of France. The south facing chalk slopes capture the best of the British sun definitely do the wine tour and you will taste it in the grapes, large gift shop, good food and wonderful countryside what is not to enjoy.

I booked this as an extra little surprise for my husband's birthday and we had a lovely day out. Very interesting to find out about the largest vineyard in the uk which as received awards for its sparkling wine and the first to receive a top gold award for its rose. Even the queen drinks their wine on special occasions.... More
