Went to Chessington on a cool but dry day - it was deserted! This was great as we hardly queued (max 35 mins for the runaway train). The kids absolutely loved the park and there was loads to do - the sealife centre and the animals gave an added dimension to a normal theme park and were great fun. Take... More

Perhaps my experience is better than some others here because we visited off peak (Weds, 16th May). We had nice, sunny weather for most of the day, which helps, but I just thought it was a theme park that my whole family consisting of two adults in their thirties, a fourteen year old, eleven year old and seven year old... Our kids are a bit young to go to Disney World, they'd not remember it. But Chessington, they may not remember either, but the price was right and they had sooooo much fun, and so did my husband and I! It rained off and on all day but that didn't dampen our moods! It's a great fix of animals and... More

This would be a great park for kids if you could go on a sunny day and they only let in half the people! For us it was spoilt by long queues at all the popular rides. Zoo was good though. More

When I visited in the winter, my young boy (20 months) enjoyed the fish in the aquarium centre and most of the animals. I paid about £16. After a recent visit, I was asked for £41. Apparently I had to pay for the adventure park as well as the Zoo. Even though we only wanted to go to the Zoo.... More

As someone else has also reviewed on here, we visited yesterday as refugees from the Legoland Fiasco! Very, very expensive to get in with a long queue beforehand. We got into the park itself by 11am and decided to employ our usual tactic of heading towards the back of a place. This worked well, and we had to only wait... More

We went on a deal where one adult gets in free but was still £70 for the family (2 adults and a 5 yr old). The first thing that surprised me was the entrance to the car parks - a pot holed dirt track, and the car park was essentially a field. The park had a very tired look about... More

I was worried about our trip to Chessington because of some of the reviews but despite the weather (waiting to see if the rainy day guarantee applies to our day!) we had a great time. There is a good range of activities, rides and things to see and do for all ages and a great day out for a family.... More
