Fab time in the woods

Been many a time, good parking and great play areas for all ages (inc big kids). Trails are well marked.

Climbing frame for children or could be for adults. Plenty of wooded walks. If you are taking a pick nick areas for you to eat. Small car park, but you have to pay five pounds, which is not cheap. Not the place to spend the whole day, but just right for a short exploration, but quite expensive.

I've given it three stars but it's more of a three and a half. Easy to get too. Lots of parking and costs three and half quid which is fine by me for the whole day. Plenty of space and a selection of walks and trails. Very well sign posted inside for the routes. A few good play areas. I... More

We're local and go here all the time but if you're visiting Suffolk and you have kids, they'll have a blast!! Get back to nature and enjoy for the cost of a cappuccino!

Took a group of youngsters. The loved the play equipment. Something new round every corner. On site toilet facilities and great place for a walk. Highly recommend for a cheap family day out when the weather is nice!

Excellent and safe place for cycling and walking, well marked trails and good surfaces for most cycles, plenty of off road parking

great place for all really, good place for fun in the forest with play equipment for kids (and big kids!) various walks and cycle tracks, lovely place to relax and enjoy a picnic of BBQ, the car park is reasonably priced especially when you consider what's on offer here throughout the whole year. We come here 6-8 times a year... More

If you're planning on spending the day, then the £3.60 parking isn't too bad as there's plenty to do on site with extensive new wooden play equipment for the kids (big and small) as well as facilities to hire bikes. Marked out walks are very good around the forest and one is an all access. Bit pricey if you're just... More

Took 7 kids, all under 11, cycling here and had a great afternoon. Beware the sand on the paths though - a little dangerous, particularly for the younger ones. Only downside was the lack of catering - not even an ice cream van.

Although Parking has now gone up to £3.50 per day it is still a cheap day out, several good play areas, shop on nearby caravan site for ice creams etc, cycle hire and most importantly loos
