We had a private tour organised throughThe Jockey Club Rooms to see the Stud which was glorious! The grounds are superbly presented, and we had the pleasure of seeing the home of a stallion coming to Australia.

Good experience for the family and not a lot of walking round the massive stud as they have tour coaches.

Very informative, knowledgable and friendly driver/guide. Better to go July or earlier if you want to see small foals. You need to be able to climb on and off a minibus several times , as this is a "hop on hop off" tour... with the guide giving much of the information once he has got off the bus and is... More

The tour was booked by a friend and I didn't know what to expect, but was amazed at what goes on "behind the scenes". A good 90 minute tour hopping on and off the mini bus, all with a brilliant guide. Despite the fact it is not the best time of year to visit it was still fascinating and great... More

On our visit there were just two stallions, one at the far side of one field and another hiding in his shelter. We were told that the... More

We went to Newmarket to to our The National Stud. It was an excellent tour and I would have given it five stars had it been the appropriate time of the year. The tour guide, coach and coffee house was very nice. Only two stallions still there as the rest are moved. To the southern hemisphere. Got to see the... More

She was informative and incredibly articulate and interesting. Time went so fast. We saw one of Frankels daughters in one of the paddocks and I stroked... More

Great value for money, the tour lasts about 90 mins and is a combination of mini bus and walking. The guides are very knowledgeable - will be back!
