Attached to the beautiful Greene King brewery, the visitor centre houses a shop selling all our beers and other lovely things. We also have a small museum and have brewery tours everyday. Our onsite pub, The Brewery Tap is available for hire for parties, events and meetings.

The on-line booking section seemed to show that the tours were full. I phoned though, and left a message and was phoned back quite quickly to say that we could go on a tour and to wear sensible shoes. The guide and tour were absolutely excellent and lovely to get to the top of the building and look out over... More

Yes, we did the great brewery tour - but everyone has already raved about how good that is (and it IS) so I thought that I'd review the brewery shop as this added to our enjoyment of the visit. There's a large selection of the various ales brewed by Greene King, available in cans and/or bottles as well as a... More

We visited the brewery & were interested in how the brewery had first come into being & all the different ales produced, It is a very traditional brewery & very family orientated, They are very loyal to their employers & a lot of their brewing equipment seems traditional. Rob our guide was brilliant & made the whole tour interesting &... More

Not a great deal to see but, if you havn't been around a brewery before, well worth a visit. There is hospitality at the end with some very drinkable bees.r

Greene King is a very large brewery producing well known brands, so the scale of the establishment is quite impressive. Clearly they do the tours for fun and people's enjoyment rather than as a commercial endeavour. Our guide had a great sense of humor, tough I would have had more questions if I did not feel a bit hurried, though... More

Visited here with 7 friends and it was great. Susan, our tour guide, was excellent, very welcoming, brimming with interesting facts, and really fun. The tour itself, round the working brewery, is very interesting even for non-ale-lovers, and the view from the top of the building is great. The tasting session was way beyond what we expected, we tried a... More

A great place to visit even for the none beer drinker. The guide Maureen gave a very interesting talk about the history of the brewery and how beer is produced. Don't be put off by the thought of 100 steps to the roof. its taken in stages of about 12 to 15 steps to various landings. The views from roof... More
