Visited here with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed the experience. Once you walk through that gate, there are monkeys running and shrieking around you. The good thing is, they don't cause you any harm as long as you follow the rules. The staff wander around the place and talk to you and give you information about the monkeys. It's... More

Really enjoyed our visit. It took about an hour to walk around the monkey forest, but you can go back in as many times as you want to on the same day. Saw lots of monkeys, and lots of young babies too. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, they are a credit to Monkey Forest.

Not too far away so worth going to. Lovely seeing the baby monkeys and hearing the talks throughout the day, quite a short walk round but you can go round as many times as you want. Suitable for families, couples, friends, whoever. Not too pricey especially when you can get to within a metres distance of free range monkeys. Café... More

I challenge anyone of any age group not to enjoy spending an hour or two at Trentham Monkey Forest. You'll get close to the Barbury Macaque monkeys living in two groups of 70 in natural surroundings. The experience lasts around an hour but you can re-enter the monkey enclosure as many times as you want to so from that perspective... More

The day we went it was raining. Was good for my grandchildren to see the monkeys so close even walked organ across your pathway. Good value for money. Would have been nicer if the weather was good.

Tidy, well kept, with happy and informative staff. Go spring to summer to see new born monkeys. Kids loved being able to walk in with the monkeys without bars or fences in between. Half day visit is enough.

Brilliant. Monkeys are living in a vast area of woodland - 50 plus acres ? Paths throughout to walk through and see them. They look happy and healthy and well-fed. Wardens are helpful, informative and protective of the monkeys. I enjoyed this much more than I expected as I don't like zoos seeing animals confined. These seemed free to roam... More

A brilliant day being so close to these fascinating animals. Make sure you catch one of the workshops on your way round. We did and learnt a great deal more than we would otherwise. The picnic and play area was perfect for a lunch break. Entrance was very reasonable for an attraction that was clean, neat, tidy, informative, fun and... More
