Visited the monkey forest as part of a visit to Trentham Gardens and it was fantastic. My son was astounded just how close you were to the monkeys. It was fantastic to see them in a habitat where they looked very comfortable and it was a very pleasant walk around the forest.

Visited a few times now with grandchildren, they love it here. The walk is relatively easy, there is a decent restaurant, although a bit pricey but there is a picnic area if that is what you prefer. The children loved both play areas and of course watching the monkees.

The monkeys were a bonus to what I'd describe as a lovely scenic autumn walk! Good place to add onto your Trentham experience, may not travel to visit the monkey part alone but glad I made it part of my day.

What a fabulous day and being so close to these beautiful monkeys we really felt in the midst of it all. The staff were incredible and very informative and helpful would suggest a whole day though for a trip round the gardens, which we didn't get chance to do, due to lack of time.

The monkey forest is a great idea, walking and observing the monkeys as they go about their daily activities. I did find the staff a bit officious, in telling younger children to not sit on small fences that separate the paths from the grass areas. While I understand the need for safety, there is a way to speak to young... More

Had a fabulous family day at the Monkey Forest, to be so close to the monkeys with no physical barriers between us was unbelievable. If you're an animal lover this one's for you .... and take your camera. Knowledgeable staff, perfect setting. And when you've done in the forest, pop into Trentham Gardens and enjoy that too.
