Easily accessible, and extremely well kept. Kids loved it and learnt a lot about monkeys... Only thing is that after a couple of hours, we had to move on as its not all that big

This is a unique chance to see monkeys in a habitat that is as close to the wild as you'll ever be without spending a fortune on a trip to Morocco or Algeria. This is an attraction that Barbary macaques roam freely in 60 acres of land and act as they would in the wild. The staff are very knowledgable... More

Having read some negative reviews about this place, we were a bit unsure about visiting but so glad we did, we had a lovely family day out. We arrived around 1pm and left when it closed at 5pm - the time flew by. Admission is extremely reasonable, staff are so helpful and chatty - a real credit to the park.... More

It is great to read you had a wonderful trip and made full use of your time at Monkey Forest. We are happy to read you visited the monkeys multiple times, watched the onsite video and your son enjoyed the children’s play areas! With 60 acres of woodland, our monkeys are able to roam freely, without any bars or cages.... More

Heard people talking about this place and decided to give it a try. It's easy enough to get to and took about 45 mins from Wolverhampton, cost just under £30 for a family of four. First impressions were good, the picnic areas were well kept and tidy, the cafe looked clean and modern though a bit pricey in my opinion... More

An incredible experience that allows you to get close with wildlife. It is essential you do not feed or touch the monkeys because of this lack of interaction with humans the park has been able to let the monkeys roam free and mix us. It was such a great experience to sit and watch the babies play freely with their... More

Visited Trentham Monkey Forest as part of a day out at Trentham estate for my partners birthday as we are both big animal lovers and had heard that this was well worth visiting. It was our 2nd visit and it was great. After reading a few reviews on tripadvisor, I was amazed that some people don't realize the monkeys are wild animals and should be treated as such. They need their space, they need places to hide if they don't want to interact with humans (even if those humans paid £7.5 for the... More

I visited here with my parents and my little boy of 20 months. My little boy adores animals, especially monkeys so this was perfect for him. The grounds are well maintained, I saw staff dotted around which was great to see. The monkeys were wondering about and some cheeky ones were throwing beach nuts from the trees. After a good... More

Visited on a Thursday - easy to find and plenty of parking. Prices reasonable for an adult and child. As most reviewers have said, its not a full day but my daughter and niece enjoyed seeing the monkeys roaming around then went to the play area afterwards. Food in cafe reasonably priced and staff friendly. Worth a visit as you... More

We took our 18 month old twins to the Monkey Forest today and I couldn't wait to review it. We had been nervous about going after reading some poor reviews but we found it to be a great family outing. As the boys are under 3 years of age they had free entry so we just had to pay £7.50... More
