Brill few hours spent watching the monkeys playing, eating and climbing the trees. Went with our 4 yr old and 2 yr old who loved it. A much different experience than a zoo. Take your time and enjoy spotting the monkeys everywhere and their babies. The guides were really great and all said hello and started talking monkeys without prompting....

Monkeys roam free so no caged monkeys. Lovely to walk around. We went here with our 4 year old grandson and he loved it. We have been here before and will visit again :)
We visited the Monkey Forest on a cool, rainy day in May. Unsurprisingly there were hardly any visitors, but that gave us chance to enjoy it more without huge crowds and almost have a 1-2-1 with the staff. We spent about an hour and a half wandering around the forest trails, watching the monkeys and listening to the guides talks....

Visited the monkey park today and really enjoyed the visit. The monkeys were really cute and very tame. Their habitat is large and well maintained. It is great to be able to get up close to them on foot. My only disappointment is the cafe. The staff were nice but the selection of food was poor and the quality of...

This is well worth a visit, to see the monkeys so close up and observe their behaviour, it was very interesting. There were a few new babies, I believe one was only two days old, so these were nice to watch, with their protective Mothers. The staff are helpful, with lots of information and a talk is given at feed...

Trentham gardens is a stately home with extensive formal gardens and a well laid out shopping village. The 'Monkey Forest' is also part of the complex, next to an adventure style tree tops experience accessed further along the A34 from the main entrance (At this point it has a number of speed cameras so beware). It is well sign posted...

She enjoyed it but I think she preferred visiting a zoo to see different animals. It is lovely to see the monkeys close to and the day we visited we saw quite a lot of mothers with their young baby monkeys.
Thanks for your review. Glad to hear your daughter enjoyed coming to Trentham Monkey Forest and were pleased that you got to see the baby monkeys! We hope to welcome you back soon.

Well somewhat disappointed with the day, we were expecting a lot of different types of monkeys, but there was only one type, for the cost, not worth it, getting close to the monkeys it is OK.
on entrance of the forest you have to walk about 10-15 mins and you will see some monkeys, but before all this, on a...

Thanks for your review. The reason there is only one species of monkey is so that you can see them exhibiting the same behavior as they would in the mountains of Morocco and Algeria in the wild. You visited on Bank Holiday Monday which was very busy and the normal waiting time in our queues is no more than 15...

This has to be the most unique attraction I have ever visited in the UK. It is basically a huge area of woodland where Barbary Apes are free to roam as they like. There are marked walkways for the visitors so the animals are free to get away for peace and quiet if they want it. It is nothing like...
