We were told about the Monkey Forest and kind of went along just for "something to do" ...pleasantly surprised, the monkey are lovely and the plenty to see, the staff in the enclosure were very pleasant and knowledgeable, the only thing I'd say to watch out for is the café...REALLY OVERPRICED ....£1.60 for a cup of tea and £2.50 for... It was a great time had by all. The walking gets a bit steep at times but we'll worth the money doesn't feel like a zoo, the monkeys look well fed and happy in there environment

It’s brilliant to hear everyone had a great time at Monkey Forest. The ¾ of a mile pathway does include some steeper slopes, however, is wheelchair friendly. Unique to the UK, with no cages or bars, the monkeys are able to roam free within the forest. This allows visitors to get an in-depth insight into the lives of the monkey.... More

For a small charge the Monkey Forest is a great but short experience and one which you probably need guaranteed good weather to get the most out of. I visited with my girlfriend and despite the attraction being targeted towards children, we both really enjoyed it. Don't travel to the area just to visit this place alone, or it would... More

Thank you for your review of Monkey Forest. It’s good to hear you and your girlfriend enjoyed your trip. Monkey Forest is the perfect half day attraction for all ages and most visitors spend around 2 hours within the Monkey Enclosure. Onsite there is also an information centre, video room and multiple children play areas, as well as The Banana... More

Excellent day out for the kids and very reasonably priced, the café is also good value for money. It was quite chilly the day that we went and you can be exposed to the wind in certain areas so make sure that you wrap up.

We paid for a joint Trentham Estate and Monkey Forest ticket which was around £15/16, which does save you a few pounds if buying separately. I was a little disappointed overall by the Monkey Forest, especially for the price. I thought the staff were enthusiastic and knowledgeable but I didn't think there was a lot to see and do. The... Monkey Forest is unique to the UK, with 140 free-roaming monkeys living just as they would in the wild. With no cages or bars customers are able to get an in-depth insight into these fascinating monkeys. Most visitors spend around an hour and a half to 2 hours with us and we recommend sitting back and watching the monkey antics... More

We traveled up for the day but could have spent much longer there than we were able. The weather was ideal, sunny but not scorching. The cafe food was good and reasonable value, though expect to queue any time after midday. The enclosure with the monkeys is a lovely walk and it was great to be able to get so... More

We came here for the afternoon and had a great time! There was plenty of space to wander around and look at the monkeys- of whom we saw plenty! The setting was also really nice woodland. The cafe was fairly reasonably priced for snack food and drink. The additional exhibit for the weekend of the owls was also lovely. Will... More

Been here 3 times. I will suggest you take the dual entry ticket to the nearby Trentham Gardens. For any new visitors it's a surreal environment as the monkeys wander around with out a care in the world. It's not the longest time to spend but it's a joy to walk amongst the monkey ... put aside an hour at... More

Great place for families, the monkeys were fun to watch and the children were kept entertained with the play areas. Nice cafe for drinks/sandwiches etc. Shop very expensive though.

Visiting the monkey forest was a great experience to get up close with the monkies. The attraction is family friendly and cheaply priced at the cafe. The staff were very friendly and offered an interesting talk during feeding time.
