We went on a Sunday morning and got there for 10am when they opened. We paid £15 for both of us.When we got in there, there were a total of 140 monkeys(141 including my husband)which were of the Barbary macaques species. There are guides on hand to answer any questions and to make sure there is no bad behaviour towards them.It was absolutely... The staff here were very friendly and enthusiastic about the monkeys. It didnt take long to get round the forest and if it werent for the small childrens play area we probably would have only been there for about an hour. The site was smaller than i thought it would be and we were left a little disappointed. The cafe... More

Came here with friends and family on a nice Sunday. It is a place to spend say 3 hours, although younger kids can add hours to that in the play areas. The cafe got very busy, but the food all looked OK, if not particularly cheap. Plenty tables and chairs though. The Monkey enclosure is really good, and takes about... More

We ventured to Trentham for my nieces birthday. We had a really good hour or two seeing all the monkeys playing about and getting up close to them but a full tour only takes around 1 hour to 1 hour and a half unless you go around again. to be fair for £7.50 you cant go wrong as most zoos... More

After paying the discounted entrance fee of £26.50 for our posse of 5 (2 adults & 3 children) we were entertained and fascinated with the monkeys who seem perfectly happy to walk alongside you whilst getting on with there everyday life, plenty of staff are on hand to answer any questions and are well informed to enlighten you with all... You really are close up to the monkeys and they really don't seem to mind at all.The staff are also helpful and informative, which is a plus. A very enjoyable experience,if a little pricey as the enclosure is very small so its a 2 hours max at best, unless you are completely nuts about monkeys, that is.

Good to see the animals up close and personal. They can roam freely and are not unduly worried by the people milling around. The animals seem in good health and the walk around the trail will keep you trim. A little pricey for entrance, but my daughter loved it.

There is an acceptable amount of entrance fee but I think it totally worths! There are currently 140 FREE monkeys, walking, running, eating around. If you care enough to read the little info board on the route, you will learn a lot about these little fella!
