The nice a little centre that as does a lot rescue of unwanted animals by previous owners. They have birds of prey, Cats, monkeys, racoons, meerkats etc. We had ride on the train and my daughter played in the park. I hope to visit the centre soon to the zoo Experience. We also played on the crazy golf course which... More

This is defiantly worth visiting it has lots of different sorts of animals from birds to monkeys to different sorts of cats. There are regular flying displays where they ask for participation off the audience. If you also manage to catch the staff who are really friendly they will let you hold the birds or snakes. There is also a... More

Gentleshaw was a lovely place to visit just to chill for an afternoon. It was nice to be able to read about the individual animals and see how they came to be at the rescue centre. My partner and I went for a drink afterwards in the little cafe. The shopping area itself had some lovely items for sale.

We have visited Gentleshaw many times over the last few years both with and without our 6 year old grandson. This is a brilliant family-run rescue and wildlife centre. There are hands-on experiences available whether it be a zookeepers experience of bird of prey flying. They also hold special events days. The entrance fee is not excessive and we most... More

Visited here today with children aged 7 and 4. My 7 year old really enjoyed the animals and reading all the information about where they came from etc. They are well looked after and clean. Lovely little place if you can get a groupon voucher it's well worth a trip. There's a nice play park and the garden centre is... More

This wildlife centre in in Fletcher garden centre and the is no signage up for Gentleshaw. Just go inside the garden centre entrance to your left and through the shop just like in the airports and at the rear is the animal park and train ride. There is a play park for kids and the entire area is very clean... More

We had the zoo keepers experience bought for us by our daughter. We had a great time that included some cleaning out, preparing food , flying birds of prey and of course getting close to the animals. The Meerkats were fantastic and one of them (Basil) thought it was a good idea to sit on my shoulder and have a... More

This attraction is located within Fletchers garden centre near Eccleshall, Staffs and can be found at the rear. It is a small friendly home for stray, injured or unwanted animals from monkeys to snakes, in fact any animal that needs a home. The admission is £4 for adults and £3 per child. You may think this is slightly expensive for... More

I brought my 2 year old nephew here during the holidays. The sanctuary includes birds of prey and exotic animals that have been rescued. It's a very small site, we only spent an hour here (hazards of a 2 year old with the attention span of a 2 year old) but they do bird of prey flying displays so you... More
