I have lived in Stafford all my life yet had never visited this in the middle of the town, I happened to be passing with a friend one day and decided to take a look, it is free to look around but donations are asked for which we happily gave. It’s great to see local history so wonderfully preserved. More

Really great historic building 500 to 600 yrs old.. Well worth a visit. Next to McDonald so if u r a chav with a Stafford bull terrier evil dog and baseball cap you can do both together and is free so u don't have to touch your dole/drug/drink money. Have a nice day More

Friendly staff, beautiful place but it's just a shame what they've done with it. I think it has a lot of potential to be a great place, but there's no clear narrative to the place as a historical route, the information boards are at times difficult to read (HUGE amount of information) or don't tie in with with the original... Very well set out showing interesting local history of the High House itself. Good costume rooms.Information well set out and easy to read. It's FREE( they ask for a donation to help with upkeep which is fair enough.) More
