Being built high up there is a fairly sleep walk up to the castle from Dunster village and lots of stairs once you are inside but well worth the puff. A well stocked shop in the old stables, the rest of the... More

Visited Dunster Castle today with my wife and dog what a great place to visit the only place the dog couldn't visit was the main castle. The staff were helpful and full of useful information. The grounds were great and well kept.

a National Trust treasure quite steep in some areas so take your time, worth the effort with views from the terrace looking over Dunster beach and the sea.

Beautiful Castle with lots of interesting things to see. Much more hands on than most National Trust properties. Stunning, I would certainly visit again!

I could have stayed there all day, nothing to dislike. The history of the castle is just mind blowing and I could close my eyes and be back in the 14th century! LOVED IT!!!

The view of the castle from the road is great, so perhaps not surprising it's less impressive from inside. I actually prefer the gorgeous village of Dunster below with its historic buildings, quaint streets, quiet gardens and lovely individual shops and restaurants.
