We popped in to have a closer look at the glass and ended up buying a few pieces. The chap serving us was very helpful and gave us a little bit of history, he asked if we had time to spare as there was one more demo taking place, (there are two buildings, about 10 minutes walk apart) we just... Went to see the glass blowing demonstration which was very interesting. The kids then had a go at making a christmas bauble which they enjoyed.

Came during half term. Did the 'blow a bauble' deal they do. £17 including the demonstration (they made a water jug) all together we were there for about an hour and thoroughly enjoyed it

This shop is has a beautiful range of gifts and handmade items. Myself and my boyfriend attended the "breath-in-a-bauble" class which was great. The staff were so knowledgeable and passionate about their creations. We now have a beautiful bauble each which will be on our Christmas tree for years to come. They are beautiful reminders of a lovely break in... More

I love this shop. Full of unique, colourful glass products many which have been produced by their own glass studio where you can visit or do courses . Beautiful stained glass mirrors and other items too. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and the manager Jamie is extremely helpful. Usually visit for special gifts because of the individuality. My husband and I... More

Was attracted by the window displays and decided to enter the shop. A staff immediately greeted us with a "free brochure" which was nothing special and frankly a waste of paper. While I was reading the not so interesting brochure, he went ahead and told us that everything in the shop was "made locally, nothing is from China", which was... More

Thank you for raising this concern with our company. We apologize if we have caused you any upset. We constantly get asked if our products are made in China so we offer the suggestion that it is not in our initial greeting to avoid confusion. Obviously we purchase Chinese products ourselves, but running a handmade company in England is difficult... More

The glass making studio is about 10-15 mins walk from the shop by the Abbey. It is a working studio, so not a refined oil painting place, but that adds to its charm. The young people doing the glass blowing demonstration were very enthusiastic and took time to talk to the audience. I made a bauble (well, I blew into... More
