This was my favorite part of our trip to Bath. Even if they didn't let you blow in the glass (which they do) it is just an amazing art and so neat to watch. I have seen this in California but it was not as good. This was an awesome experience. I have been twice now and each time been... More

Wandering around Bath we came across the Bath Aqua Glass shop. We were looking for a unique glass ornament, but couldn't find anything in the shop that we liked. No problem we were told, go to the factory shop and tell them what you want, so we did. They couldn't do enough for us. They even made our piece while... More

Enjoyed the glass blowing show at the Bath Theatre of Glass. Blew my own bauble and watched a vase and an elephant being made. A great way to spend a wet hour in Bath.

What a great find! I have always wanted to have a go and for a small price I was able to have a little taster. We watched the demo first which was really interesting and each aspect was explained - and then I was able to make my own round ball which I watched from beginning to end and is... More

We visited on Valentine's weekend and watched the glass-blowing demonstration before having a go ourselves. We helped create a beautiful heart shaped bauble which was then posted to us on Monday and we received it yesterday - we were really pleased with the result. Watching the process is fascinating and I'd like to have a go at one of their... More

My friend and I booked to blow our own bubbles. After a demonstration of glass blowing which was very interesting. We took turns to help blow into our own bubbles. It was fascinating to see the whole process. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. As we visited on a Saturday the bubble was then sent to us very promptly... More

Such an interesting and unique experience, seeing such an old craft happen before your eyes. The staff were willing to answer any questions ranging from the simple to some quite in depth about the furnace. Watching the staff work with the molten glass is fascinating to see it go from a blob of orange to a finished product to be... More

Even before you enter the place you spot the iron sculpture blowing glass on the roof of the establishment. The glass blowers are so focused on the job in hand that the voice over can be a little disjointed but they as alway willing to answer any question on the way glass blowing has not change over time and is... I visited their demonstration, which was very interesting if a little confusing as the voice over commentary was not completely in time with the demonstration. But it is very obvious to see why the person performing the demonstration has to keep their attention on their work literally in hand. This is one activity I believe should not be missed in... More

Visited Bath Aqua Glass yesterday, 08/01/14, and watched the 10.15 glass blowing demo with my husband. It was fascinating with a good audio tape explanation playing as we watched 2 glass blowers and their helper make small glass jugs in front of us. Lady in the attached shop then explained further and answered all our questions. I would strongly recommend... More
