A lovely pub in the middle of Bath city centre, playing host to a large open fire! Cosy isn't the word! We only had drinks here! But were impressed with the setting. Great and varied drinks list. Staff are super friendly! Only thing that disappointed me was we arrived at approx 22.40pm and ordered a bottle of wine between two.... More

Great place, food brilliant, great wine list. Staff friendly and attentive, clean and nicely decorated. situated near to attractions and amenities. The chips are to die for! Time scale on service is good. would recommend if your in the area, visited the baths and found this little gem.

We ate here early evening on a Saturday, the pub has a great ambience but was very busy and it was hard to get a table. All the staff where polite and helpful. We ordered burgers which where average price for Bath and our food arrived very quickly. Burgers where brilliant!

A welcoming atmosphere in a pub you don't expect to find in the centre of Bath... Felt like a country pub.. Food was nice too.. Will definitely return ..

After being let down by a nearby restaurant,we stumbled across this little place. What a delight, We were staying in Bath for the weekend with some good friends. The waiting staff were very polite and friendly, We all had a starter, bit of an issue with portion sizes on 2 of them. But they dealt with the issue promptly, apologising to. We... More

This is the first time we've been back to the Crystal Palace following its renovation. Not much has changed internally, at least from our recollection, but it's a nice enough place to be. Had a few pints of Peroni (the only premium lager on draft) which at £4.85 a pint is hardly cheap ! We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2... More

We spotted this place down the side of the abbey while on our way back to our B&B and as we were a bit chilled (early evening after a lovely warm day) we decided it was a good excuse to pop in for a warm-up. Very tastefully decorated, nice outdoor area. We checked out the food menu, as always, and... More

I visited the crystal place with my mum and my baby. The barman seemed pretty stressed out and got my drink wrong. I ordered the butternut squash cobbler which came with herb dumplings and bread. For £10 all I got was some cubed veg in a sauce with two rock hard savoury scones on top which we're too hard to... More

As above, pub has been recently refurbished. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good range of drinks, although they weren't spectacularly cheap. Food looked good but wasn't unable to try it due to time constraints. Nice covered beer/smoking garden out back and a brilliant location for exploring town.
