Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, an innovative series of steam rooms and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

We were here on holiday and decided to try this spa/baths for the rooftop pool experience. The main thing we went for was the naturally heated spring water which did not disappoint. The pools were warm and the rooftop one was great as you don't often get the chance for an outdoor pool to be hot. There were 4 steam... More

Perhaps it was a mistake to visit on a Sunday but the pools and steam rooms were all incredibly crowded and it was far from a relaxing experience. It was impossible not to bump into people whilst floating around the pools and it was also fairly noisy. There was a queue for the changing rooms but the worst experience was... More

Very average for a spa and expensive for what you get. After queuing for nearly an hr you then get 2hrs for £35 (Saturday prices). Although it was clean and nice it's basically just a glorified warm pool. The roof pool however was not warm enough, especially with it being brisk spring temperatures outside. You have to queue and wait... More

We did a mini tour of the West Country for our wedding anniversary and decided to treat ourselves to a twilight spa package. I had been here a few years ago with a hen party but it was the first visit for hubby. We had a great time with one criticism regarding the meal at the Springs restaurant. We were... More

Very impressed with the pools , the cleanliness and all round running of the place. The rooftop pool was amazing we were lucky that it was sunny so beautiful views over Bath whilst in hot steaming water. Also impressed that after 2 hours in water skin was not like a prune but lovely and soft.

We enjoyed the massages and the main pool was good. There are four saunas all of which were very hot no variety except the scente. Missing a dry hot room, a proper jackusy and could do with a ice bath/shower (tepidarium). The view from the roof top bath is impressive but the water could do with been much warmer as... More

Not so good: You take a lift or stairs to each part of the spa The steam rooms are all same heat intensity they just smell different and shower in centre is warm?! The showers are separate to changing area so we showered at hotel! The rooftop pool gets too busy Floating things absolutely everywhere so annoying! Get in the... More

The Spa itself is clean and well appointed but it's the water that makes this Spa special as you bathe in Bath's natural spring water - it's absolutely lovely and smooth on your skin. The four scented steam rooms are absolutely blissful and the roof top pool is stunning with its views across the city. However, when we went the... More

This is a very well executed attraction with immense style, well priced & exceeded all expectation. The water made your skin feel fabulous. The roof top pool was amazing & the pump pool below was great & an unexpected experience. The downside is that the canoodling is so boring & inconsiderate. The restaurant is dull as ditchwater, you feel like... More

Me and my husband had a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon in the spa pools, steam rooms and even an aromatherapy massage which was lovely. The only negative was when we went to the restaurant at 2pm and asked for a Pineapple Punch we were told they'd been very busy and had run out. Now being as the spa is a... More
