We visited with a gift token from a generous son. This spa was a marvel of engineering when set up and the Bath context is obviously just right. However the city centre constraints place limits on the value compared with country spas (we are regulars at Nirvana). The lower pool is delightfully warm to get into and has an aerated... More

Myself and my partner went for her birthday treat to the spa on a time for two package which ment we stayed almost all day there, everything about the day was as I expected, the only disappointment was that one of the steam rooms was out of order, on the up side the top pool was awesome this is our... We booked a hot stones massage each plus 4 hours at the spa. Ended up entering at 10.15am and left at 4.30pm. It was a wonderfully relaxing day and would definitely come back. The treatment rooms were nice, therapists very good. They offer so many types of treatments, but if you want a couples treatment in the same room you... More

A very busy spa with queuing and lots of hustle bustle. Average price but i felt worth a visit. The rooftop pool was great but it gets very packed.

We went in on what we thought would be a romantic 'twilight package'. It was just a bit dirty and smelt like chlorine. Totally crowded at every turn. The food was good though. I wouldn't really recommend it at all and I wouldn't ever go back.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for a relaxing spa afternoon, and I had a prebooked treatment. Luckily beause I had booked a treatment we were able to skip the rather large queue to enter the spa! The downsides: It was packed I have to say! Although maybe you would expect that for a Saturday. One of the steam rooms... More

We (young couple) went on a Sunday. Yes, I expect it to be busy. Thank goodness we booked a treatment. This does allow you to skip the hen and recovering stag revellers. Then you hit the locker room. Coucil run pools etc. have bigger changing areas and lockers. Don't bring anything more than you need to. The size of a... More

This is not a relaxing, chill out spa you would imagine from viewing the website. My friend and I arrived for a Twilight Package late afternoon on a Friday and a Day Spa Package and two treatments booked for the Saturday. On the Friday “Twilight” visit, it was over crowded and incredibly noisy. We went up to the open air... More

Thermae Bath Spa was the main attraction for our visit to Bath and we by no means disappointed! We arrived at midday with about a 20minute queue (this queueing time is normal according to staff). The scented steam rooms were lovely, whilst the rooftop pool was a highlight. A perfect depth and temperature, the rooftop pool itself was worth the... More

I am a very reasonable person who lives a 'normal' life where a Spa visit is a luxury and isn't easily afforded. Therefore, when my Fiancé and I booked the couples retreat (£187) I expected to be in awe of the place. I was unfortunately disappointed. The roof top pool was untidy and had many floating aids left in a... More
