If you have visited a few spas you know what to expect. If you visit a spa which with towel charges £30 for 2 hours you expect a lot. Not: small crowded pool on roof, 4 steam rooms the only difference between them being that some smelt worse than others, cold water showers after the steam rooms that produced a... More

Wow, an amazing experience. We had a ticket for the spa, lunch at the pump restaurant and entry to the Roman baths, it was fab well worth the £66 each. Staff were friendly, it was well organised, a whole day taken care of.

Couldn't visit Bath & not go the Thermae Bath Spa.....actually I possibly could!!! Felt it was a must whilst being in Bath but at £27 per person for 2 hours my wife & I were a little disappointed. It nice but value for money, I'm not so sure....

This a reasonably priced spa with a stunning roof top pool/jacuzzi. The steam rooms with the different aroma pods is great. If you want a treatment DEFINATELY book well in advance as this is a very popular attraction in Bath. The morning is the quietest time and avoid 4pm as this is extremely busy!

Went with a group of friends. We went 1st thing on a saturday morning so it was not that busy. By the time we got our 2 hours in the pools were starting to get crowded. This is a place to enjoy the water and I particularly enjoyed the sauna. Next time I will go midweek in the morning. Things... More

Thank you for your comments and helpful advice. We would agree that Thermae is not a luxury spa but hope that the facilities such as the natural thermal waters and open-ar rooftop pool make us a little bit special. There are one or two areas, such as the changing rooms, where space is limited by the physical size of the... More

My husband and I were really looking forward to have a nice 2hours to relax before visiting Bath. It was quite a disappointment, actually stressed me out more! We went early on Saturday morning to try to avoid crowds, but there were still too many people in the rooftop and Minerva pools to be enjoyable. Lots of people also translate... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and we're sorry that your visit did not live up to your expectations. We limit the number of guests coming into the Spa but Saturdays tend to be the busiest day. We do ask our guests to show respect & consideration to the other spa users but would agree that, on... I've lived in Bath for a year and a half now, and I've only recently experienced the wonders of the Thermae Spa. I loved it! There are three main areas - the Minerva bath, the steam room, and the rooftop bath. The Minerva bath is indoors, and less crowded. It has a really cool lazy river thing going on too,... More

Thank you for your positive feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit. The rooftop pool is popular all year round. It is really lovely when the weather is cold and the contrast with the warm water creates steam. We try to encourage people to visit early or during the week as weekends tend to be busy, particularly during... More

Have been to the spa a few times before, but this was the first time we tried a package. It was good not to have to rush with the extra time this gave us. The pools were lovely again, especially the open air pool when lit up at night. The treatments were fine, the staff are very friendly and professional. The... More

We visited in a group of 8 on a Saturday morning - only a short queue so I would advise attending early as when we left the queue was enormous! The rooftop pool is simply spectacular and not to be missed. The steam rooms are lovely but very hot indeed, make sure you bring water to the spa with you!!!... More

We are glad that you enjoyed your visit. Weekends are often busy, particularly during the summer months and in school holidays. We try to encourage people to visit during the week where possible, when it tends to be a little quieter. With regard to the layout, Thermae is a combination of modern and historic 18th century spa buildings and therefore... More

Visited in October on a day that the weather was beautiful: sunny, vivid blue skies, 65 degrees. We bought swimsuits, and were graciously shown everything and everywhere we needed to go. The bath/pool on the roof offered stunning, sweeping views of the bucolic countryside; roaming, lush green hills with grazing sheep, old stone homes, and centuries-old stone walls. The experience...
