So happy we booked this tour! Traveled in the comfort of a 16 passenger coach with our guide Collin. The timing worked out very well fitting in an early, crowd beating tour of Stonehenge as the first stop. Just amazing! Followed by the Avebury stone circles, Lacock National Trust Village & Castle Combe. It was a full day that was... More

I joined the stonehenge tour. This was the first time for me to join a small group tour, and I found it an excellent experience! I've had a few experience in other cities and countries, and in most of the tours, the coach travel time was often long or the time for each stop was short that I couldn't feel... More

We've been on the Cotswolds Tour (#2) and the Avebury Tour (#4). Both were fantastic. The Cotswolds Tour will take you to the medieval villages of the Cotswolds, which almost haven't changed at all; very beautiful to see. The Avebury Tour will also take you trhough some villages which have stood the test of time, and takes you to the... More

A perfect day! Our guide Kevin was very informative, interesting and kind. Plenty of time for each site and great info on the van to give us background on each visit. The small group is wonderful and we were able to get to Stonehenge before the crowds. Another trip advisor winner!

Took the Tour #1 to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds...HIGHLY recommend this tour, great value for the price. Tour guide Gary was awesome! Although the trip required lots of driving, he provided insightful and witty commentary during our driving time. Additionally, Maddy provided some pre-recorded commentary on sites as our coach approached them. The bus was very comfortable and sat only... More

Super pleasant guide/driver (Tim) of smaller tour bus. We appreciated his guidance and stories. Avebury was really wonderful in quite a different way than Stonehenge which is amazing but so solemn. Wish the tour allowed for more time in the Cotswolds towns. We were happy we chose Mad Max.

We scheduled the Stonehenge, Avebury, Cotswolds tour. It was outstanding. Tim was our driver and he did a great job. We did 2 day long tours later in our trip in Scotland and Tim and Mad Max tour was head and shoulders above those tours. Getting a brief tour of Bath was a nice bonus. Stonehenge and Avebury lived up... More

We booked the Mad Max tour of Stonehenge, Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe. Our guide was really informative and made the whole trip fun too, which greatly impressed our twelve year old son, especially all the Harry Potter information! The pace of the trip was perfect and we arrived back in Bath just in time to sit in the Abbey... More

Thankyou so much for taking the time to write up your comments. Very glad your son enjoyed all the Harry potter connections. I watched some of the night time filming in Lacock which was fascinating. Very useful reminder about bringing cash to pay for your Stonehenge entrance. If everyone does this we get a smooth entry into the site on... More

While this tour does leave from Bath rather than London, it gives you a chance to spend some time in the nice, calmer city of Bath. The tour itself is great. The groups are much smaller than other companies, and by arriving at Stonehenge shortly after it opened, you avoid heavy crowds. There is a decent amount of time at... More
